Great bag for a quick trip
Great bag for a quick trip. It fit 3 days of outfits , including a sweatshirt and pair of shoes, plus a few extras just in case, the carry-on liquids bag, a small cosmetic bag, charger, a few books, and some small accessories and zipped shut with no problem. It rolled fine throughout the airport and it was pretty easy to manipulate the handle, although it did get stuck a time or two when it wiggled and one of the little tabs came through the hole when it wasn't supposed to. The handle is a bit wobbly and not my favorite part, but I think the bag is still a great value. It fit fine under all the seats I tried it with -- the only thing is that on some of the smaller planes, it was a little difficult to get it out from under the seat while seated, just because there wasn't much room between myself and the seat in front of me. Overall, I really liked this bag and would take it again for a short trip.

High Quality, Perfect Size, Holds Lots
This review is for the navy bag (not the one that is quilted.) Great piece of luggage. Fits anywhere. Holds much more than expected. This thing is like Doctor Who's TARDIS; I don't know where my stuff is going but it seems to be limitless on the inside. So far this little suitcase exceeds all expectations. It looks great, has strong handles, the fabric is tough as nails, the zippers are strong and work smoothly, and the bag always has somewhere to put that little something more that you forgot to pack in. The telescoping handle works flawlessly, as do the in-line wheels. Rolls easily. The strap for stacking on other luggage makes this even more practical than my backpack in many ways as there is no more losing things in all those backpack pockets! I really love this bag and don't know why I waited so long to get one. The suitcase has already been on city streets, in trains, planes, buses, cars, and still looks brand new so I am encouraged to hope it will last a while. The shade of navy is pleasing. I recommended this bag highly to friends and would buy it again.

Perfect for travel.
From plane to cruise ship. This is a perfect travel case. I find it roomy enough for short term 2 night stay or for essentials for long journeys. I wish it would have 360° wheels.

LOVE this bag! Still great after 5+ years!
I bought my first one over 5 years ago and it worked so well for me, my husband made me buy him one, too. We've put these through a wide variety scenarios and they are a go-to favorite for both of us. As an airline carry-on, it's amazing. It has fit under the seat in front of me on every airline I've flown. I've strapped it to the back of my motorcycle. It's been thrown into luggage vans for summer camp. I've loaned them out to friends and family, so they've seen a lot of use. Both have looked like new and we haven't had any issues with the handles or rollers for over 5 years. Well, I finally broke one this weekend. I stacked 2 large duffle bags on it and went off-roading with it on a rough dirt trail and the metal handle gave under the abuse. I take full responsibility for breaking the bag, as it was never designed for what I put it through. But it was such a great purchase, I'm back to replace it.

Good for the price but not good enough for me.
Good for the price but not good enough for me. Construction feels a little cheap and the zippers are stiff and sprung one time. I have taken it on two trips. The telescoping handle requires that you hold button down steadily while extending or it won't lock upright. My chief problem is that I use it to support another larger soft side bag on top. This item has a soft rounded top that will not balance anything on top without a strap. This is only a flaw because of the way I use it.

Great bag. But... Know your needs
Note: I don't normally write 'day one / delivery day' reviews because they don't represent real world experience. I am going to make an exception because this is important. (Basic review towards the bottom)Know your needs.I bought this one because pricing on roller bags that also have the word 'laptop' in their name/ description command a high price regardless of how poor their quality is. So, why not get a rolling bag and just put your laptop in that?I already own a solid laptop sleeve for my laptop, which is only 13 inches wide. It adds another half inch to each side, so it is not some 17-inch behemoth.I bought this to replace a nice backpack I use in my daily commute that was aggravating my back issues. However, I pack a lot of things in it beyond my laptop. Including a soft side lunch box.And there is my conundrum. I did not think that part through. This bag is much smaller than you might think. It has several pockets for little things like a thin power bank, or maybe a tooth brush and paste. But when I transferred all my items from the backpack to it, it filled out quickly. Now it is so full that it is hard to zip closed. That is not a good thing for a 'daily driver'. So, I really need to rethink my needs.Know your needs.-----------------------Now, a basic review:Stitching: every seam looks to be stitched. There appears to be no glued up short cuts.Shell: ballistic nylon. It will fray if it gets cut or ground up on abrasive surfaces like curbs. That is just a natural fact of life.Wheels: inline skate style wheels on real bearings. They may lock up from debris someday but may last far longer that some of the higher priced bags with simple plastic wheels. There really isn't any form of curb protection around the wheels. So, for a commute bag, I must lift it over curbs to prevent rubbing and shell fraying over time.Retracting handle: it has its own zippered space and retracts fully. It has a locking design with a release button. If you are pushing down on it or twisting it while you push the button, it can feel like it is jammed, but it is not. The aluminum used in the handle does not feel thin or cheap. The bag also has nylon strap handles with a cloth wrap at the top, so no fake leather to crack over the years.Zippers: They have a pretty tight spacing with fine teeth. They look like they should last for quite a while. However, if you over stuff it every day, you may overstress the sewn seams holding them in. So, don't do that - on any bag.Pockets: All external pockets are pretty much designed to be used with flat things. The front pocket has a maximum internal space of about an inch zipped up. Side pockets are about the same but project a bit inwards into the main space of the bag for a little more room.Ground clearance: about half an inch or less. There are rounds pads on the front bottom which feel solid. No silly plastic legs to break off like many other brands. So, like a lot of other Amazon Basics products, it's a pretty good product at a reasonable price. Worth the cost when you need something but don't want to commit to an unexpectedly high price tag.Final thoughts: This is not a laptop bag. It is an overnight bag for your clothes and small items. It should fit in most under seat positions on a commercial airline plane. It will fit in an overhead bin.So, too small for my daily needs. That is my fault for not understanding my real needs. I won't be returning it. Why pay a restocking fee? There is nothing wrong with it. So, I'll keep it around for any overnight trips. My wife may use it more than I will for that need.If you know your real needs, then this is a great bag at a fair price.
