Bosch dishwasher working again!
Simple remove and replace for my Bosch dishwasher inlet valve. The dishwasher was not filling sufficiently with water and as a result, the dishes were not getting washed and the soap was not dissolving properly. Since replacement, it has run daily for a week straight without any problems at all.

Failed after 2 years
This vale was noisier than the original but worked just fine.Almost to the day 2 years after the install we find our kitchen flooded and water flowing down into the basement. Where the solenoid is screwed into the housing, the housing had cracked and water was leaking out. Spend the extra money on the genuine Bosch spare, it will save you in the long run.

Fixes washer not cleaning
Valve fits just as it should. It is a bit louder when filling which I found kind of amusing. It’s not annoying or anything, just never heard the old valve fill. It works exactly the same. I have a Bosch dishwasher and noticed the top rack wasn’t getting wet at all, the soap tan was not getting dispensed, and nothing was getting clean. I cleaned my filter and manually clicked the door latch with a screwdriver to watch the dishwasher operate. I noticed the sprayers were not getting any pressure. I filled a jug of water and poured it into the dishwasher. Immediately the washer started spraying and operating as it should. So I knew it was the fill valve. I ordered and installed this and it has been operating well ever since.

Cheap easy fix
Fairly easy to replace. Dishwasher has been working fine for 1 month since replacement. Symptoms were inlet water coming through even when machine was off causing slow flooding. Water had to be manually shut off at the inlet. The solenoid controlling water inlet wasn't closing correctly allowing water to constantly come through.
