The moon cakes were all dried out and taste awful. They were dated from October and i Can't even reorder them because they're not available. Review: SO GOOD! - These are so good! And the perfect size. The cake itself is more moist than I was expecting and has just a hint of sweetness. Love red bean paste flavor. Perfect little after dinner sweet treat.

It's okay
Overall okay flavor. More than half of mine were broken with the cake crumbling off the center bean paste. I ended up not using them because of the broken ones. Quite expensive to serve about 10 cakes.

Arrived stale and expired on January 29 but we got it way after. No returns $30? :(
Dry all the way through and tasteless. Would not even give them to my dog. Gross!

Not really red bean paste.
We were so excited when I ordered these, picturing the red bean paste we have in the buns at our favorite dim sum restaurant. This is not red bean paste, rather it is red bean paste flavor. Not sure how they arrive at that but these are really just cookies, maybe you could call it cake, filled with some kind of brownish flour sugar combination. Since we already told our guests we were serving them for dessert, they insisted on trying. While the adults all agreed they are a failure, our granddaughter liked hers so much she asked for a second. Maybe it’s because they’re her size. They really are mini moon cakes, not just small, at about 1 ¾ inches diameter.

interesting taste
I have never tried moon cakes before. The picture of the intricate design of the dough on top looked really tempting, so I ordered it. The cakes turned out to be little things, individually packaged. They tasted pretty good. Not super sweet. I liked the texture of the bean paste inside, at least this is what I think it is? It had some unfamiliar spices added, which I have no idea what it was. The taste was quite interesting. Note that the individual packages are stamped with the date of production, not the expiration date. On the outer packaging it listed both dates - production and expiration - it was made two months ago, and the expiration date was about four months in the future. Many countries list the production date only and then how long it is to be ok to store it, leaving the math to the consumer. Also, remember that they write the month first, then the day, unlike us who write the day and then the month. It was an interesting experience to taste those beautifully made treats.

Came late, stale and nothing like the picture
Arrived several weeks late, stale, barely any filling unlike the pictures and were very small.
