I got this for a friend and she absolutely loves it. It has wonderful intros to each chapter that point out how the book relates to Jesus and who he is. There is room on some of the margins for taking notes- which is very nice to have. And the cover is just beautiful. SO detailed and pretty. it is a bible that will last years and she couldn't be happier with it. Which means as the gifter I am happy.

I bought this Bible for my boyfriend's birthday. I have the same brand of Bible (just in a different style and translation), and I love it so I wanted to get one for him. He loves the space to write on the sides and the little snippets of information here and there. Its a great Bible and looks super cool! Very nice leather and seems like it'll last forever!

This bible is beautiful and of high quality. It's stays open flat. I added bible tabs to the top, I made sure they didn't stick out too much, and it still fits in the box. I love the commentary, it's helping me understand the scriptures and I love how it ties everything to Jesus. I'm using this Bible with a through the bible in 1 year study plan that I also bought here on amazon. The articles and notes are providing me such a rich journey through the word of God. I love this bible and I hope to pass it to my children and their children.

Leather Bibles last longer, especially if you truly are one who reads and studies the Bible, not just on Sundays. This is a beautiful and unique Bible, and it's discounted in price because it doesn't have thumb indexing, which I never use, anyway. Use leather conditioning wipes to treat a leather Bible, and it will last longer than your lifetime; using liquid conditioner is messy and can get on the pages, so I recommend the wipes. This would make a wonderful gift to men and women both. It adds some color to my Bible collection, which are mostly black leather. Highly recommended.

This Bible edition is perfect for understanding how the books and Testaments work together to point to the centrality & Lordship of Jesus. There is a good amount of well-written supplementary material, though it doesn’t distract from reading the main text. The illustrated leather cover is just gorgeous. I’m storing it in the box it came in when not reading, to keep it in good condition for years to come. Thankful for this Bible.

Surpisingly smaller and lighter than I thought it would be. It's still good-sized, but video reviews I'd watched made it sound like it was going to be a brick, lol. My only disappointment is it's not as green in person as it looks in the photos. Must be the flash or such. Still beautiful though, and I look forward to using it along with the Bible study based on this particular Bible.

This bible is absolutely beautiful. The calfskin leather feels really good in hand. I also love that it comes with 3 ribbon markers. I won’t talk about the inside content because other reviewers have already touched on that however, it should be mentioned that this bible does not lay flat so for that I had to take off a star. If you were planning on using the inside margin space (like in the book of psalms) you won’t be able to because it won’t lay flat. I own the Jesus Bible in a different cover and it lays completely flat so you’re able to utilize more space for notes. Keep that in mind when considering which cover to purchase. The premium look and feel to this Bible makes up for the lost inside space so it just depends on your preference. First photo is the Jesus Bible leather soft that lays completely flat and can even bend all the way around. The second photo is the calf skin leather Bible and as you can see there is a hump in the middle.

I received as a Christmas gift (that I picked out myself lol) I can’t get over how beautiful it is! The print is a little smaller than I expected but I think that’s more comparing it to my previous bible. I would recommend this to anyone!

Turned up in beautiful condition. It is such a pretty bible. The additional text/commentary is super helpful in terms of bible study notes and each book of the bible is given a run down of what you're about to read.
