I like the firmness of this cushion, it fits my rocking chair perfect and the thickness is perfect. I wish the outer material came in other colors other than just black perhaps that is something you can change in the future. It is very thick and if let overnight in a cold car will become firm. When I first get in to drive I am sitting a little high and have to adjust my seat. However, a few minutes of using it and it sinks back down. What I love about it, though, IS the thickness. All these seats sink when you use them. I had my tailbone removed last year in May after a horrible fall down a dozen wooden stairs, and I can sit again but only with a pillow and for less than an hour, maybe 2 if I push it, at a time. This is the 5th pillow I purchased. The first I gave as a gift because I found better and a friend was in need. The second my dog ate but it is now my back up. The next two were the same as each other but I lost them both. Then I found this one because my last two were great but needed another inch of thickness. After using them for 30 minutes they became inch thick pancakes with little padding. So, this one was twice their thickness and I took the leap. UREEKA! This pillow sinks like all the rest BUT is so thick that it still has about 2 inches of nice padding when it does, I barely even notice the change except that I have to back off from the pedals a bit, since I am, no longer high in the seat. I love it and will eventually order a second just in case. It doesn't have a strap, which I miss BUT the padding makes up for that by leaps and bounds.

This is a nice thick cushion. It is ideal for my dining chair, since it's cushion has sunk considerably. I was hoping that if I sat on it for an hour ( or more) that I wouldn't have any lower back or hip ache, however I did still have pain. So, I am considering looking for another cushion out there for my back and hips. For short term use of it, it is not bad.

I bought a couple of these cushions for use in office chairs whose seat padding was completely inadequate for extended use. My job entails spending hours on end seated in front of a monitor, and almost every day I ended the workday with noticeable soreness in my coccyx and gluteal area, as my chair's stock padding was thin and quickly became compressed to the point where I was essentially sitting directly on the rigid metal seat pan. The Sleekform memory foam cushion took a bit of getting used to, as it is quite thick and adds height and bulk to a chair's seat. But after having used it for several days, I can say that I haven't had a single recurrence of the soreness that was previously plaguing me, and the general discomfort I used to feel after sitting in the chair for extended periods has been greatly diminished. The cushion's ultimate durability is something that will require a much longer period of use to determine, but it seems sturdy and well-made. Recommended if you have chairs whose seat cushions need to be further augmented for improved comfort.

DUE TO THE THICKNESS OF THE CUSHION IT ADDED COMFORT..THIS ADDED COMFORT CONVERTS TO EXTRA COMFORT IF YOU USE A WHEEL CHAIR THE EXTRA WIDTH IS A FEATURE..I ALSO USED THE 3 INCH VARIETY BUT IT FAILS IN COMPARISON..MY WIFE USES THE 3 INCH FOR NAPPING ON THE SOFA, OR IN THE BED..IT DOES NOT HAVE GEL FOAM FOR COOLER TEMPERATURES..

I've waited to give a review for a few weeks because I wanted to get some actual use out of it first. I bought this model and a competitors, which actually cost more. The Sleekform product has been way better. It is almost 2x as thick and is firmer than the other brand's. It has helped me get through a lot of desk time and I highly recommend it.Their customer service team has been emailing me quite regularly since I bought it. In truth, their follow-up is why I am leaving this...I respect the diligence in this digital age. The only comment I had for them was that it didn't come with any instructions for placement or care. It could be that the paper fell out of my box before I noticed, but I was able to get the info from them within 24 hours.Cheers!

I purchased to add height to the bicycle seat of an exercise bike. I found that it flattened down when seated on it; but it wasn't as bad as another product. I didn't like it for use on the bike so I gave to my father whose had 6 cancer battles and encountering some pain. My father loved it was placed on an office chair.

I love this cushion! I tried three others that were highly rated on here and sent them all back. They were either very thin and completely flattened when you sat or already molded a a shape other than your own. This was is much thicker than the others so it provides more support and after you are sitting for a few minutes you can feel it complete mold shape to you. And like good memory foam, it totally regains it’s shape when you get up. It is a very high quality compared to most that are listed here, and the price was good. I am so glad I found this, and I can’t imagine sitting at my computer without it. Now I just need one for my chair at work.
