It's a pump dispenser. It screws onto a container and then pumps out the contents. It's difficult to mess a product like that up and it has not been messed up here. I used this for a while on a big container of popcorn butter. There was never a problem. I'll admit, when I was done with the butter, it was just a bit tough to clean out. However, I'd say that was due to the fact I was washing out fake butter. The pump separates into many pieces, allowing for a thorough cleaning. In my opinion, you won't go wrong buying this product.

The only reason that this pump did not receive 5 stars is that you have to keep the gallon of liquid you are dispensing from absolutely upright or you will get a LITTLE leakage. It is fantastic that one pump measures out 4 cap full of liquid soap exactly. Great purchase...would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a pump dispenser for a liquid in a gallon jug.

Getting this pump is a must if you get the Snappy Butter Burst Popcorn Oil, 1 Gallon. It may seem like a lot but I tried it with and without the pump so trust me when I say not to hesitate to get it. The pump can be reused if you take care of it.

I used this to portion out a gallon jug of gas additive so I could keep just a small bottle in my car. This was just the thing I needed!

Arrived broken and when tried to return it, was told "This item isn't eligible for return."

It's a tube that goes down in a gallon of popcorn oil and it just allows you to dispense directly out of the gallon jug so it does work good
