Root 66 Max Volume Shampoo, 8.5 Fluid Ounce

This whole line of hair products is not only affordable, but very good quality. I have fine, thin hair and volumizer shampoo is what I need. It has a nice, fresh scent, makes me hair feel really clean, and also adds the promised volume. The bottle sizes are somewhat average--not large. I recommend this to anyone wanting good quality shampoo with added volume for fine or thin hair.

If you haven’t this shampoo yet you are in for a treat. It actually works. Not residue , lathers and rinses well and actually adds volume. I use a clarifying shampoo once every two weeks.

Update: It does clean well and not heavy on fine hair. You do need to use more of the product because it doesn’t foam well. You need about two uses compared to the standard one use (lays on top hair and need extra to be able to get it to the scalp). In other words, will go through this product fast doing double use (servings) each time you wash. I will buy again since I like that it is natural. But need to find a way if I can get it to foam better. Maybe there is a pump bottle I can put this in to foam better. Don’t know Original review: Haven’t even tried the product, but looking at this bottle getting narrow at the top, just makes it feel cheap that you wouldn’t go ahead and just give us 10oz. If I love the shampoo will change the rating. Just laughing at the level of how cheap can you get with the product shape. See image, where is the rest of the bottle?

Love all the shampoos I use from Giovanni. My hairdresser uses this brand at their salon to shampoo customers and this is how I first found out about the brand. I have been using this brand for over 7 years. There are many formulas to chose from and I bounce between a few of them. It is always trial and error to find which one works best for a particular hair type. I personally love Root 66, ( I have fine long hair ), Deep Moisturizer, and 50/50 Balance. I often get asked what shampoo brand I use.

I have to be careful with the shampoos I get due to allergies but this shampoo is gentle and leaves my hair shining and healthy. I have been using it for years.

love this, truly fragrance free, as advertised

I didn’t care for this shampoo at all. It seems to really strip the oil from my hair, and leaves my hair very tangled. I wouldn’t purchase it again. I have fine, wavy hair, so maybe I just don’t have the right texture for this product.
