Urban Armor UAG iPhone Xs/X [5.8-inch Screen] Case Pathfinder [Black] Rugged Military Drop Tested Protective Cover

I bought this case for my iPhone XS about 18 months ago after I had messed around with some other cases. I always end up going back to UAG. I tried a couple otter box cases but they were just too bulky. This case is solid enough for probably 85% of people. It’s taken some abuse and been dropped on I don’t know how many occasions onto concrete, asphalt, and even down a flight of concrete stairs and the most I’ve done was had to replace a screen protector after falling face down on gravel. The case does show some wear and tear but after so long it’s going to. Especially after some of the falls it’s taken. When I purchase my next phone, I won’t mess around like I did last time and I’ll just order one of these. I would highly recommend one of these cases for their durability and design. If it looks a little too “tacticool” for you, try the plyo series. I got one for my mom in clear and she loves it.

Great value for money

I purchased an iPhone XS recently, and immediately needed a case that was going to help me avoid dropping a very slippery phone. I love Apple design, aesthetically, but it's often not practical in use. So I decided to protect my sleek phone with this great case that has edges, texture that wraps around the sides to help me keep my grip on it, doesn't add much weight, has a perfect fit, and a raised rubber edge in front that is significant enough to look like it will protect the front glass in case of a flat drop. Last but not least, it is orange! I was able to get everything I wanted in one package, and so far, I really like this case. I haven't dropped the phone, so can't speak to the case's performance in that way. But from an everyday use and feel perspective, I think it's one of the best cases I've ever had. Fits the iPhone XS perfectly. Thanks to the folks who answered my questions early on. I appreciate your quick answers.

I have had several UAG cases fro my iPhones. The price is very competitive for the case quality. I have yet to have a phone break as a result of a drop. The case is so good, I left a phone on the roof of my care, drove about 2 miles and then by a stroke of luck, retraced my route and found the phone in the middle of a 2 lane highway. Crazy. Screen was shattered and battery shorted, but I was able to resurrect the phone with replacement parts. The case is scuffed, but completely usable. I can't say of the phone was run over, but I know I was moving close to 50 MPH when it finally flew off. Note the phone took a 2 mile ride down a steep, twisty hill before I even got to the highway. The corners of some of the UAG cases have a tackier plastic, which seems to be a smart design.

I bought this to replace my LifeProof case. I drop my phone a lot (in general, not because of cases - I’m clumsy!). I really like this case. It’s not bulky, it fits my iPhone XS perfectly, and my phone has survived many drops!Another reason I didn’t like my LifeProof case was because the camera was covered with a protective layer. The covering kept getting scratched and blurred my photos. This case has a rim that is further out than the camera (without anything covering it), so my camera is protected and photos are clear.The only issue was that the case was slippery at first. It seems better now, but I also have a PopSocket on it for a better grip. Some dirt gets into the back of the case but not much!

Outstanding case. I own an iPhone XS and it fits perfectly. It’s more sleek than expected but still feels extremely durable. I purchased the Plasma - Magma case and I think it actually looks better in person than in the pictures. The black around the edges has just the right amount of grip. I expected it to be real sticky rubber and collect pocket lint from my jeans but it doesn’t do that at all. It does have enough grip to feel confident holding it that it won’t slip too. I actually shopped this case before I bought my phone so I got the silver thinking it would look best through the translucent red back. But after seeing it I believe the black or rose gold would look just as good. So far so good. If for some unforseen reason I have any issues I will update my review to reflect any negative remarks. But all good for now.

I had this case for my my iPhone 6s and love it. On one higher than usual drop of several drops the case did sustain a slight crack on the side but it did its job and protected my phone. The face has a raised edge even with a Zagg screen protector it still keeps the screen off a flat surface to prevent scratches. It has a great transparent look and cools design and feels good in my hand. It’s a tad heavy but I personally like for my phone to have some heft to it and I don’t consider it heavy, it’s a phone not a dumbbell. That’s why I chose to go with the same case for my new iPhone Xs. Fits great looks great and protects the phone well. It has an open face which I prefer as I use a glass screen protector from Zagg that’s awesome as well.

My wife and I have been using the UAG case for over 3 years now on our previous iPhone 6plus phones. Just got 2 more for the new phones, an X and an 8 plus. There was no question about which case to buy as the UAG has done a perfect job of protecting our phones for so long. Have had zero issues with case quality OR damage to our phones. The phones still look new after 3 + years of daily use. The UAG cases look great, protect great, and are not overly bulky in any way. It'll stay put when laying flat on most surfaces. Yet will slide in and out of a pocket easily. They don't interfere with charging plugs, speakers or the camera lenses. The control buttons are tactile and easy to use. Build quality could not be better. If I had to complain about anything, it would be that I'd like to see more colors and/or finishes available.
