First volume to not haveca poster but the illustration was still dope, so oh well. This volume takes on a whole different vibe and pacing. Less over arching action and instead of many lil' chapters of various developments, like, Mikoto and Chigusa running to please quater- Bell getting chased by the Berbara- Phyrne's intro, etc. Instead of these lil' arcs it was all entirely on one focus. The day to day worries of Wiene. It was not my favorite approach but not against it by any means. Revealed a very out of nowhere plot that will I will judge after reading the next volume because it is split into two parts. I say it like that because depending on how contrived this new addition is to serve as convenience towards the plot is what will be scale. It was alright though, had a super gritty and desperate dungeon crawl towards the end that was awesome. The new characters (aside Ikelo's crew. Waiting to be judgedXD) were not given stereotypical personas and had a level of depth and appreciation to em' that made them relatable and modest as character designs.

Wonderful entry. Don't let the title fool you, it is a fantastic series.

I found this book kept my attention much better then the previous I finished it in 2 days. Bell spreads his wings a little bit and grows as a character making some decisions for himself all starting when he meets the new character on the cover Wiene. Even after a short amount of time I started to grow attached to the new girl who's place in the story really feels important going forward into the upcoming books.

Books are great! However amazon shipping them was horrible. I can waiting a little over a week due to covid 19, but almost 4 weeks to receive them was unacceptable!

This volume greatly broadened the scope of the world and the story with its twists and turns. It's going to be tough reading through the next volume of the side story as I anxiously await getting back to the main event.

I liked how it’s no longer that the monsters are always bad bloodthirsty animals but they can also be sort of like humans too I think it added a bit more depth to the dungeon

This has been my favorite light novel series for some time. That said, I felt like the quality of the series took a serious step upward in this volume. I really got to connect with the characters and had an awesome opportunity to take a step more fully into mr omoris world. I would dearly love to see mor of the series follow after this volumes example. I cannot praise this enough!

Started this series off through the anime and i didnt want to wait for a second season to continue the story so I bought all the light novels that were out and was not dissapointed. This light novel had me reading constantly and i dont usually read much at home, great novel and i hope to be seeing a second and third season of the anime in the future!

Much different from the previous novels - the one off adventures have now evolved into proper story arcs with the stakes getting higher as the world we thought we knew is suddenly turned on its head - a very welcome surprise that not only keeps the overall story fresh but keeps us excited to see how Bell and his familia are going to cope with a brave new world - looking forward to the next in the series for sure!

Great continuation of the story.Side note: Amazon currently has it listed in the details that it is 400pages but it is actually around 280pages.

Got to be one of the best manga's I've read in a long time, love this series and can't wait for a new anime series to be green lit!

Forget everything you think you know about monsters, is the entire series about to change??
