If you want to fly more, get this fly more kit
Having multiple DJI drones, getting the Fly More kits is just what I build into the cost of buying them. When we go out and fly, having 3 batteries vs. one just makes going out more fun. This kit includes 2 extra batteries and the multi-charge power strip. (Not sure what to call the 4 battery power distribution thing…)Upsides:Put up to 4 batteries on the power distribution strip, attach a USB-C power source (yes, even a computer will work, but not recommended), and it will charge the batteries attached to it, one at a time - highest charged one first in turn. It does not charge all of them simultaneously. I’ve thought about the non-simultaneous charging, and the ways to get around that to provide continuous flying (or fly, change battery to charger, and start flying again), and to do that, you’ll need 2 sets of these to have the 45-60 minute charge time vs. 15 minute fly time work, because the Avata does come with a single battery charge adapter in the kit. However, for the break in flying, having one will make things fun.Downside:This is more of a “quirk” with DJI batteries and that is the upgrading of the firmware on them. You’ll have to have them in the drone to upgrade them, so do this at home. The 1-2 minutes to upgrade the firmware cuts into flying time. However, having the battery talking to the drone to give the best performance is worth it. Sure, DJI batteries cost more than other FPV drone batteries, but if you have an Avata, the Fly More kit makes the Avata experience come alive.Highly recommnended

Ready! Set! Charge your batteries!
Not much to say about this, really. Well, a few little tidbits. You get two batteries and a strip for plugging in 4 batteries. It wont charge them in parallel, but will charge them in sequence. The stock charger lays flat, while with this one the bar is a little thinner, so works best if they're standing up, like in the pictures. I would have preferred if it could lay flat like the stock one, but no biggie. The nice thing about this setup compared to past chargers from DJI, I can use the stock charger and this at the same time! So I can at least charge 2 batteries at once. Also, having 4 ports to plug batteries in is a temptation to buying more batteries. Not sure if I should resist or give in. It certainly bugs the OCD part of my brain that hates seeing it 1/2 or 3/4th full, like com'on man, fill 'er up!

Important Detail to Know
An important detail that is NOT obvious in the product description: This charger only charges ONE battery AT A TIME. That's right, even though there are slots for up to 4 batteries, this charger will still only charge one battery at a time. The way it works is you plug in all of your batteries into the charger and then it charges them one at a time.UPDATE:I originally gave this 2 stars because with a low wattage USB charger, these batteries take anywhere from 3 to 5+ hours to charge. BUT, if you get a high output charger that can be reduced significantly. Look for a USB charger that puts out 65 Watts to optimize charging time. I didn't know about that when I purchased this, but it's really good information to have.

A Need to Have for the Avata
I purchased an Avata unit and battery only as I already had the remote and goggles. The batteries for this drone don't last very long so it is worth getting backups and this is OEM product. Arrived on time and works as expected.
