A good product..... I think you'll like it
First let me say I ordered this bed with my son's approval for my grandson. Afterwards my husband started looking into it and reading reviews. A couple of people had complained of the odor of formaldehyde, which is only used in pressed wood or MDF wood so not solid pine as this manufacturer claims. We opened the box's up out in the garage and unwrapped all the sheet plastic. There was an odor but nothing that would knock you down. We left it out in the garage for a couple of days and no noticable odor. The bed is pretty much solid pine but even the instructions said some pieces were MDF, probably the bookshelf. Now for the good stuff. Our son basically put the bed together by himself. My husband helped hold a couple of pieces at the start but that was basically it. The bed was together in a little over 2 hours. The drawers took him almost that long and the bookshelf was a breeze. All of the predrilled holes seemed to match up well. The drawers gave my son the most trouble if anything did. When put together there is a backing sheet that takes 23 or 28 small nails. You just have to see it to understand but there is little to no room for error or you'll split the wood. We just left it off, your not going to be seeing it anyway. The bed is sturdy and if we move the drawers and bookshelf there is room underneath for another bed if he has a sleepover. It can be expanded on. It a great design. Well worth the money. That's another thing. The bed was listed for $457 but when I went to checkout it came up as $699. We called AMAZON and that was no help so I kept backing in and out of checkout and finally got a price of $477. I took it. That's the first time I experienced anything like that from AMAZON.

Excellent loft bed option, we love it!
We are extremely happy with this purchase. I only ordered from Amazon because we waited over a month for another discount site to ship and after they moved shipping date out for a fifth time I canceled and ordered from here. I am glad I did! We have had the bed for about two months now and have had no issues with it. It arrived on time and was packaged very well. Nothing was damaged or missing. My husband and I assembled it over the course of a day and did not experience any major problems with assembly. We did opt to use a power drill for some of it but almost stripped one of the screws and so did a lot of it by hand as well. If you've ever assembled furniture before, this is no different. Having two people made the process much easier and I would think assembling the bed frame would be very difficult alone. Anyway, I find the bed to be very sturdy and the dresser and bookcase are very nice also. I think for the cost you really can't beat it. I like how it is modular so you can move the items around if you like, as the bookcase and dresser are not attached to the bed frame. I love having storage underneath and how much extra space my daughter has in her room now. She loves to go underneath and plays there in her "fort". Very happy with this purchase!

100% worth the time and money!
I shopped around for a while before deciding to buy this loft bed for my son. I wanted to be sure it was the right choice because I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of a return if it wasn’t as described.Bottom line, we could not be happier with this product. It arrived professionally packed and without any damage. It was a bit of a hassle to figure out how to open the boxes, which sounds ridiculous, but it’s true. If you carefully use a box cutter and open it from the skinny/narrow end that works best.It did take a long time to assemble - probably 4-5 hours total - but the materials were nicely packed and labeled, and the instructions were easy to follow. They provide a hex wrench for the screws, but if you have a power drill I’d suggest that to speed up the process. (Note: the instructions say not to use power tools, but using a screwdriver and hex wrench to install 600 screws would take ages.)The quality of the product is fantastic - sturdy and modern looking. I love the dark gray and think it could work well for a boy or girl. There is plenty of room underneath the bed for storage, even with the bookshelf and dresser in place (which by the way are freestanding from the bed frame itself and can be positioned anyway you like). We were able to fit several large Tupperware containers underneath.Despite the long assembly process, I would highly recommend. The final product is worth it.

Cheap Furniture
This bed was beautiful and seemed sturdy when I received the bed and put it together. I bought this bed in March and it is now August and the bed essentially needs to be replaced. The screws inside the bed have been stripped and loosened. Keep in mind it was not like that when I put it together. Glad I got the insurance with it. Wish I could just get a refund. If your looking for a durable bed for a toddler I’d keep looking.

Son loves the bed
We replaced a set of traditional bunk beds with this loft bed for our 7 yr old, and like it much better. We ended up keeping and reusing the two mattresses from the original bunks, laying the 2nd mattress on the floor under the new bed. So, we essentially still have 2 single beds, and the whole set up is lowered about a foot. The bottom space makes a nice play area, and the top bed isn't quite so scary-high for little kids. The one fault I have with most of these beds is to me as a parent, the railings never seem strong enough or high enough. So, I always end up adding some modifications to increase the strength and height. Overall a nice bed, easy to assemble. I did leave the parts to air out in the garage for a couple days, and had no problems with smell.

Nice bed
We bought 2 in March of 2019. They are nice, and for the most part, survived a very destructive now almost 5 year old. I did notice a few months ago that the front panel one of the drawers is bowing upwards. It doesn’t hinder use, just doesn’t look as nice. Also, the piece of wood that the ladder is attached to is splitting where is screws to the rest of the bed. This is because my kids use it to pull themselves up from the floor, or leaning up against the top trail.Over all I really like these bed though
