(30mm+55mm) Front Rear Wheel Axle Nut Socket Tool for Ducati Motorcycle Panigale V4, Street fighter 1098, Monster 1200 (Red)

Fit my axle nut perfectly, but since it's aluminum it won't hold up over time. Have to use this on an impact gun, and you can see the aluminum twist where you mount it on the drive.

The tolerances are poor on this socket: it nearly falls off my Milwaukee 1/2" drive impact, and the only tools that hold it OK are the ratchet with some sort of a restraint on the drive. As a result, it quickly develops even more play since the material is so soft. The fit around the rear wheel nut itself is also on the loose side; the front is OK. Bottom line is that this tool will work in a pinch but think of it as something to keep on the bike for a rare emergency situation rather than a socket to use regularly in the garage. There are plenty of others on the market -- aluminum, too -- that are much better made, more durable, and for not a lot more money (think BDS or even Laser).

Purchased this with the logic as most do. "It doesn't cost a ridiculous amount." I could have purchased an entire 3/8 In. ratchet and socket set from a local retailer for the kind of money it would cost from most other suppliers/manufacturers. Fit perfectly and would purchase again.
