Though the smell is bad, it can be minimized with a good ventilation system and putting the resin back into the bottle after use. I had issues with standard resins that would break off small details. With this ABS resin, it is easy to detach from the print bed and you can easily rip the supports off in one quick motion without compromising the piece. This made post processing immensely easy.

This is my go-to resin for printing tabletop gaming models. Has just the right mix of durability and flexibility for the fiddly bits you find on models these days. Excellent detail down to 10mm models and up to full 90mm display models. Maybe beyond that but that has been the largest I've done so far.

I make statues for fun. I have tried many different resins. I found standard resin to break easily. I am a klutz. I have found that the Elegoo ABS Resin to be very strong and accurate. I have dropped things with no damage where standard resin would break. I have little issue piecing together large constructions. The picture above was printed, standing 18 inches tall. One pic is just the print, the other is a primer coat in black and a white zenetel to show shadows.

UPDATE: April 2024 - ABS Like Resin V2 (Gray): The V2 Gray resin is more of a blue gray color than a true gray. It is also slow like other Elegoo resins. On my old Anycubic Mono X, I had to up the exposure time 10 - 20% to get it to perform well. If I left it where I had it dialed in for Phrozen ABS Like, I had print failures. Mainly failure for the print to stay together at the supports - lots of separation.Viscosity - V2 ABS is more like Phrozen resin. It is quite good viscosity and not thick like snot like the original resin.Smell - Not horrible like the old one but not great. It is somewhere between that. Almost a stinky floral smell.Overall. Not bad, but you will need to up your exposure time 10 - 20%. I now have exposure at 2.5 up from the 2.12. Your mileage will vary. I have not tried the resin on my Elegoo Jupiter yet but I would expect to up the exposure time as well.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------OLD REVIEWAfter complaining about how the Elegoo Clear resin was basically unusable due to a formula change in 2021, Elegoo reached out and offered to supply me with another resin. Since I mainly use ABS type resins for durability (slightly improved durability), I chose their gray color.It arrived and I used it to print a new model I was developing. The resin is thicker and less viscous than the normal brand I use. However, it literally printed very well with no setting changes on my Anycubic MonoX.Overall, I will say that Elegoo makes good resins. However, their clear resin is to be avoided for now until they have a better formulation. Hope this helps.

I have no issues at all. It is a little bit more flexible and durable compared to other standard resins

Have been using the ABS-like resin recently and it's 100% worth it. No more broken minis with just a tiny bump. No more swords falling off if you set the mini down wrong. It still prints with great clarity too. Love the details and flexibility

This resin prints beautifully. I use almost exclusively elegoo for their quality to price

I am very happy with it it prints out smoothly the prince comes out crisp and very good detail
