I broke my Right-Arrow key cap and butterfly hinge. I removed it because it was sticking, and I didn't realize I had to slide it on and off the hinges. So when I tried to put it back together, I broke the hinge. I went to the Apple Store for a repair with the keycap without the hinge, but they would have had to repair it by replacing the ENTIRE keyboard since they don't carry the hinges or keycaps on their own. Because I was out of warranty it would have cost me more than $200 and they would have had to order the part anyway which would take several days. For less than 10% of that, I got ordered the part myself and followed the video on how to remove/replace them, right from the product's media page. I am able to use my right arrow again, and it works perfectly. Definitely worth it.

If there is difficulty installing the scissor mechanism to 'click'- there maybe debris/ dirt in the key space or it may be misaligned. I found it helpful to hold the left end of the clip down with tweezers and 'open' the scissor mechanism for key placement from the other end with a thin credit card. I got the left and right arrow keys and both fit perfectly. Identical quality to the original mbp keys and work just as well.

this was one of the best things I have ever bought and I never write reviews, I had to come and write one bc of the amazing video and replacement hinge and key for my MacBook Pro. I was nervous to put pressure on it to push it into its place the hinge but you have to put some pressure on it which the video does not tell you. amazing replacement for a MacBook to not have to bring it in to get fixed it worth the price of this alone!!

Quality was good for a replacement. Easy to install, looks like the normal one, fits perfectly. Best value for your money if you don’t want to pay the company for a whole new keyboard lmao.

We’ve got an infant who’s a scratch-grabber lol. I thought what the heck let him explore. Well he ripped off my right arrow key. After buying these and watching a YouTube video on the install (“Mac replacement keys” channel it went in with no issues. The replacement I got is just a hair shorter and doesn’t stick out as far once installed but works perfectly and no on who didn’t know would ever notice. Very good product in my opinion highly recommended if you’re in need of a replacement keycap.

I had a MacBook Pro M1 and my child took off the arrow key, I used this replacement and it worked perfectly. Looked like new and had no issues. Just use YouTube for instructions on how to install it.
