Instantaneous no-dip-switch functional solution
My setup is output is from an RTX 4090 to an LG C1 split to a 4K Projector in the theater room for watching media when I am not gaming - specifically so I don't have to do re-cabling when switching nor deal with Windows freaking out about icon locations, recommended scaling, HDR compatibility, Dolby Atmos compatibility, or anything else. The LG C1 supports 4k at 120hz HDR, G-Sync (variable refresh rate or VRR) which I use for gaming, as well as CEC to the Onkyo Dolby Atmos system (so that when the LG C1 turns off, so does the stereo). These three features in combination seemed to cause massive issues for several other splitters, usually resulting in either complete non-functionality, screen flickering, HDCP status being broken, or HDR not being supported when put through. The ezcoo is splitter #4 I have tried to get everything working the way I want. After having issues with several HDMI "splitters" that I would more descriptively call "redistributors," I ordered this HDMI splitter expecting problems but hoping for the best. The ezcoo splitter just validly worked right out of the box. There were no dip switches, no crazy manual in half English, and no oddities with its behavior. The EDID copy function actually worked without issue, and simply plugging everything up worked. Windows sees and sends 4k, 120hz, HDR, HDCP valid, with Dolby Atmos to the LG C1 and through to my receiver. This is precisely what splitter technology is supposed to do.

Gives me 4k/120hz using the hue sync box with my PS5
Bought this for my hue sync box and PS5. Using this device allowed me to play my PS5 on 4K/120hz.There is a few videos on YouTube that shows you how. Set up was fairly easy and you will need a few more HDMI cables. Just make sure those hdmi cables are 2.1.Tmi have it tucked under my desk on top of the hue sync box. It’s about the same size as the sync box. It’s made of metal and not plastic.Every so often, about once a year, I do have to reboot the box as my screen will flash black with the HDR logo flashing on the top right. Once I reboot this device it works fine. I’m not too sure if this device is the cause of that but rebooting it solves that problem for me. So I deducted a star for that.I do think it’s fairly expensive for what it is but since I wanted the hue sync box to work and still get 4K/120hz, this was the cost.

Janky dud of a product, avoid like the plague.
I don't leave many bad reviews but man, I wish I could give this zero stars, seriously do not buy this piece of junk. I purchased to use my Xbox Series X at 4k120hz with VRR with an HDMI responsive LED Backlight kit, so sending one HDMI signal to the TV and one to the LEDs. I could get this to work intermittently, but in nothing resembling a reliable fashion. Sometimes cycling the EDID settings would fix it, sometimes unplugging/plugging in the HDMI cables in random orders would fix it, but nothing stuck. The LED kit just wouldn't reliably turn on despite this unit supposedly recognizing it as there.Tried to update the firmware as they do not ship updated to see if that would sort out the behavior and my god what a mess. The updater downloaded from their website immediately tells you it's out of date, and the instructions provided with it DO NOT WORK. Not to mention they're all compressed in RAR format and look like they're from the 90's, it all reeks of Chinese malware honestly.Somewhere during the process of attempting firmware updates, power cycling, cycling EDID settings, and plugging/unplugging HDMI cables the unit just ceased to function altogether, no longer sending any video signal. Total waste of time/headache, read through other reviews to see the other examples of how poor quality this is.

VRR doesn't work out of box
Unfortunately after troubleshooting I found that VRR doesn't work out of box and that VRR disables on PS5 when your in game but on Xbox it is always on causes screen flickering. The instructions to update the firmware to add VRR do not work and there does not seem to be a reliable source of information on how to update the firmware even on their own website. What makes it worse that that trying to get a reply from the website or from the seller leads to nothing so I don't think there is any support for this item. Now a 3 after I figured out how to get the firmware update and the flickering has stopped on my TV but capture card still flickers with VRR enabled but thats a capturecard issue. But I shouldn't have to make it work myself because the instructions don't work.

Perfect for Phillips Hue, enables 4k 120hz + VRR with light sync on PS5
The media could not be loaded. Was eager to see if this box would work to allow light syncing with 4k 120hz vrr enabled. Box is set to copy edid from TV and output 2 is set to downscale to 1080p and output to the sync box. Only thing I was worried about was VRR not working with the sync box, but it doesn't seem to be causing any issues, works perfectly. Can also confirm it works with Dolby Vision from the Xbox as well, 120hz 4k vrr with Dolby Vision

Works great but not as reliable as I’d like.
I waited a long time for this product to come out. It does what not many others do in letting you split the signal at different hz to different outputs. I just wish it was a little more reliable. It causes some issues at times and needs reboots every so often.

Don't buy this trash!
If I could give this item a zero I would. Bought this item and it didn't even turn on when I plugged it. I even exchanged it for a new one and that one didn't work. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS! I even emailed the product customer service and never heard from them....terrible!
