Q: Can it be cut into pieces and stored in the fridge? Or would that be a bad idea?

It’s better if you slice it and eat it fresh. We got a vacuum sealer, so we slice the whole thing and make vacuum sealed packages that we store in the fridge.

Q: Once opened and slices cut, is it best to store the rest of the ham in the fridge or leave on the shelf with a bag cover over it!

Definitely never put in the fridge. Leave outside with the cover on.
