Beautiful Chiming Clock
Beautiful chiming clock. Superior craftsmanship, very easy to set up, perfect rich color. Bought as a wedding present for family. They say it was a cinch to set up and love it ❤️

Excellent timepiece.
Absolutely perfect...a little difficult to get the chimes adjusted, but it doesn't matter, I don't hear it at night anyway...keeps perfect time, beautifully finished. Great buy.

Well-Made
Product arrived on time and well packaged. Clock itself is Well-Made, has heft to it. Easy to follow instructions regarding setting the time, choosing chime melody etc. Worth the price imo (I'm no expert on clocks though).

Chimes stopped working after 13 months
We loved this clock. The transitional design and the fact the chimes silenced during the sleeping hours was great. However, after 13 months (one month after warranty expired) the chimes stopped working. Reached out to Seiko and found out they did not support their clocks any longer but they directed me to who did. The phone number given did not work but googled the name and Emailed them. They responded quickly with a fix that “might” work but it did not. If that didn’t work they gave me a long list of repair shops. None in my area. So I guess we will just have a clock that fortunately does keep time but we did love the chimes.

A touch of class
Wood & finish appears well done, has a softer sheen vs high gloss. White dial, clean indices, touch of Roman numerals, polished silver accents & the rounded bar pendulum… it all comes off as classy. Compared to a standard mantel clock, the pendulum makes this more interesting. Very much so like it. New to chiming clocks & wish there was better control of the options, e.g., cannot just do hourly chimes w no melody, or vice versa, or adjust when the melody plays. This clock rings the time at the hour & the melody at 15 minutes after, with no options to vary this, except muted at night or no sound at all. Also to note, the pendulum operates independently; mine swings 78x per minute, yet keeps perfect time. Wonderful looking mantel clock, I like it.

Beautiful clock with chimes
Purchased as a gift. The recipient wrote me and said it was gorgeous. She couldn't get the quarter strike Westminster chimes to work. I wrote an email to Seiko support, received a prompt reply to wait a day or two. I was skeptical, but we followed his advice and sure enough, it started chiming Westminster on the quarter hour! Very pleased with the clock and the support.

Very Nice!
I had been looking for a chiming mantel clock to replace one that stopped working after many years of service. This one is precisely what I was seeking. It has a rich, attractive finish (appears to be made of wood rather than plastic, which is usual at this low price), has a clean face that is easy to read, and keeps good time. It chimes on each quarter hour as well as the time on the hour. I am very glad that I carefully read reviews, because I discovered that many other clocks do not chime like this. It has a nice tone and the volume is easy to adjust. Unlike my old mantel clock, this one is easy to set. My only criticism is that the access door on the back fits very tightly -- perhaps too tightly, because I had to use quite a bit of pressure to remove it. I currently have the access door only partially in place, which is adequate because it can't be seen. I am waiting to completely close the door until after I reset the clock over the weekend when Daylight Savings Time begins.
