I would highly recommend these dog shirts. My dachshund was attacked by another dog and had some stitches and other open wounds that needed to be covered. The vet suggested buying a baby T-shirt to put on her. I tried many different baby T-shirts and none of them would cover the open wound on her neck. This was the only shirt I could find with a high turtleneck for dogs so I gave it a shot. These shirts were much better than I anticipated. They are so soft and comfy for my girl as she is recovering from her injuries. And it’s almost like this shirt was meant for dachshunds. The turtleneck part is high enough to cover the neck and it’s long enough to cover stitches she has on her back. She is a small girl so I was going to order the small but then I saw the size chart. I used the size chart provided and it was spot on. She is 16 pounds and long and a large fit perfectly. She is so much happier now without the cone and we are happy knowing that she’s comfortable. Love these sweaters for my girl! They are so soft, easy to put on, thin enough that her harness fits over but the material but still soft and warm. I have a pekingese so she is a long girl and these fit her when she has her longer hair and her short hair. Even got a complement from an Amazon driver when I was walking her in it who asked where I got it! lol

These sweaters are so soft and fit great! My chi puppy is 5lbs, 3oz and is wearing a size small. The arm holes are big enough to where she can get herself stuck if she's playing rough and rolling around with toys, but she only wears these when we're going outside during the morning and evening chill. Highly recommend!

I love these shirts! Not too heavy but snug enough to feel like a hug. My oldhound has very short hair actually likes to wear them when it’s chilly.We walk through fields and woods in the fall and winter and this fabric doesn’t seem to hold the briars and seeds as badly as other fabrics.They wash well and hold their shape after countless trips through the washer and dryer. Will buy another round this fall.Also bought a set for the boyfriend’s pup.

Our 12 year old Maltese/Yorkie/Terrier mix has Cushings & Diabetes, and needs to wear a shirt daily to cover his glucose sensor + keep warm with a ton of hair loss. We’ve purchased 10+ waffle shirts from this brand, and we were looking for something a bit warmer for winter weather. These are PERFECT! They are so soft and stretchy, and our pup loves them! I was a little nervous about the turtleneck being tight, but it’s really roomy and folds down (and stays down) without a lot of bulk. Our boy is 14.5 lbs, and measurements align to a large, but we’ve purchased medium in other shirts of this brand, so I took a chance and ordered the medium - they fit like a glove, and stretch in all the right places to keep our boy comfy. Our pup has a skinny back, but a pot belly because of Cushings, and the medium has plenty of room still, while fitting well. We haven’t washed them yet, but others from this brand have held up well. Other reviews seem to recommend machine washing and air drying, so we’ll try that (we machine wash & machine dry his other shirts). I’d recommend sizing down if you’re on the fence. See pics - I’d highly highly recommend these shirts!UPDATE: It’s been over 1 month since writing my review, and I’ve machine washed AND machine dried these shirts MANY times. They’ve held up great! Hang/air drying is really inconvenient for us, as our pup wears a new shirt every day and every night, so I took a chance and threw one shirt through a full cycle of machine washing and machine drying with no issue. He has 4 of these shirts and I’ve now washed and dried each of them multiple times; no pilling, no loose threads, no shrinking, still like new! So, for those of you leary of the dryer, know that there’s one rebel out here that’s been machine washing and machine drying these with no issue! Hope this helps!

So pleased with the back length. They are light but cozy warm for a summer shirt for an Alaskan dog. Have ordered a two pack 4x so I can have a different day. My small dog loves to roll over I. The grass so they get dirty but laundry nice. My Yorkie looks so nice.

Fabric is wonderful. Construction is great. UNFORTUNATELY, the arm holes are almost as big as the neck hole and for my 5lbs skinny Yorkie, her arms slipped through and she was coming out of the shirt on a walk. Great for a "stocky" dog.

Perfect for a chilly day. I think my dog appreciated it when it was a bit cooler on the days I didn’t run the pellet stove. Fit perfectly and he’s a large pit bull mix.
