Q: What is the lengh in the large and x-large? Don't see how one size would fit both short and tall people.

Mine are 33 1/2 inches long from waist to end of leg. They stretch both vertically and horizontally. I can't find a size on them, but I remember reading to buy them two sizes larger than what you normally wear and I did and I was very pleased. I wore them on a 9 hour plane trip and found them to be very comfortable.
