Great little boxes, but pay attention to the size.
Pay attention to the size! They are clear, I scratched the sides to improve nymph grip. These are very small, and while the description says you can keep small reptiles in, you cannot unless they are tiny. That said, I liked these little boxes. They are a thin, lightweight plastic, but the lid fits securely. The gap between the flip top and lid is small enough that it contained small fruit flies (melanogaster). Tiny air holes are drilled on two sides to allow for cross ventilation. The ventilation was sufficient to prevent mold from growing on the coconut coir I used for humidity. I used them to keep mantid nymphs in. The lip on the lid makes them easy to stack, though I don't stack them because I prefer the added airflow through the flip top.

Worth the price, would buy again.
I got these for surprise baby millipedes on my single ivory girl. Good quality for the price, decently sturdy, and functions well enough. Very easy to use and decent system.

Nice, but not for the teeniest slings
I bought these for my P. audax spiderlings. There are some sizeable gaps on the lid and the air holes are a bit bigger than I expected. I had five slings, but one appears to have snuck out. I'm pretty sure my fruit flies could find their way out, too. I used scotch tape to cover the gaps in the lid. I also taped over the air holes and poked smaller holes in the tape with a pin. I'll remove the tape once the babies are a little bigger. The size of these containers is great. A cotton round fits in the bottom. There's room to add pipe cleaners to climb on or other accessories. The little doors open easily and snap shut securely for feeding. I'll probably stash some of the extras in a few places in case I have a cool bug emergency at work or something.

Wow! So perfect!
I am very impressed with this little gem. Usually, small insect holding boxes or breeding boxes are heavy acrylic, way overpriced, and not designed this well! These tiny holders are lightweight, reusable, with ample air vents and an easy to open and stay closed little door. Great for temporarily housing small spiders, transporting, and capture-photo-and releasing back into the environment. I love to photograph all types of insects, and I can easily carry a few in my pocket on a hike, be sure they're safe, take their photos and let them fly free. None have come back for royalties yet, but I have plenty of nectar and pollen if any want compensation in the future. :)

Great containers for kids backyard bug exploration!
My 7 year old and 4 year old collect hella bugs from our yard. Must have to keep the spiders or crickets and bugs alive. Study enough that the lid stays on so this mom doesn’t have to touch the gross things lol has a extra opening too so kids can feed them with moms help lol

It works but may need to modify
I’m using to keep slings in. Size is great for small slings. I have had a few now that seem to hold on to moisture. So it’s still perfectly usable, just might need to poke more holes into it. So it does technically take a little assembly. They look great and the latch is pretty solid. In fact, a couple of times I was trying to take the lid off and I had a little trouble getting the lid to come off. They are a little milky, but usually can still see your animal. Might need to shine a light on it. If you want to clean it, you will need to have a few q-tips on hand, unless you want to completely take it apart.

Not Suitable for Small Spiderlings or Larger Specimens
I purchased these for housing spiderlings (slings), but unfortunately they didn’t work for my intended use. The gaps in the hatch are large enough that very small slings could potentially escape. You might think the solution is simply “don’t use them for tiny slings,” but the issue is that the enclosure itself is too small to be practical for larger specimens. That leaves it in an awkward middle ground where it’s not ideal for either stage. As a result, these are currently just sitting unused in my closet. For anyone keeping very small invertebrates, I would honestly recommend buying solid acrylic boxes or dram vials and drilling your own ventilation so you can control hole size and placement. These didn’t meet my needs.

Good product, only downside is there is a millimetre gap around the secondary lid and I have had one or two snap when the lid wouldn't come off evenly.

Not all of the lids had securely fitting lids so i couldn't use them as they could easily pop open.

Jumping spiders, orb weavers and widows will do great in here. These are better quality than the professional ones I was given by a local breeder and collector. If they're the right size for you littler arthropod then they are a perfect choice, no brainier. I was even able to make it a planted terrarium by potting a spider plant runner in a bottle cap :)

They are small and would house sling tarantulas. The lids are probably not escape proof cheaply made as well. They don't go all the way. If you force the lids you will break it.
