Great product
Great food and water containers for our baby chickens and ducks. I love how the feet on the bottom can either stay closed, or raised a little or raised all the way up. Very nice.

Great Starter Set for Baby Chicks – Clean, Practical, but Short-Term UseThis feeder and waterer set is a great option for baby chicks. It keeps both food and water clean and contained, which is especially helpful during the early days when hygiene is so important. The design is simple, practical, and easy to refill and clean. It really helped me manage feeding in a more organized way.The reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it’s only useful for a short period of time — chicks grow quickly, and these containers become too small sooner than expected. So while it’s perfect for the first few weeks, you’ll need a larger setup shortly after.Still, for the price and convenience, this is an excellent starter set for anyone raising baby chicks.

These work and are inexpensive
Works well and the water holder has legs so the chicks don’t play in it. The feeder is great for the chicks and if you’ve never had chickens be prepared that they’re very messy eaters and drinkers

Waterer is great, feeder needs improvement
First off, the adjustable feet on the waterer is an upgrade and a great idea to the normal waterers on the market. It's adjustable (by folding out) to 2 heights in addition to it being flat on the ground and works exactly as pictured.I really wanted to like the feeder as well but unfortunately this was not the case. I thought it was going to be an upgrade because the footprint is smaller which is crucial when you have a small brooder box where every square inch matters. The idea made sense, but unfortunately it did not work as intended for me. The inside bottle that holds the food does not sink down enough to prevent food from spilling out everywhere. The reason is because this new design increased the height of the bottom (green portion). Ideally, it would be best if it sinks in lower so the food doesn't come spilling out so easily. The way it is now, food comes spilling out to the edge and when chicks pick at it, they tend to use their beaks to scratch all of the food onto the outside and it ends up getting mixed in with the pine shavings and going to waste. A good tip to prevent this food from going to waste is putting a small tray or plate underneath the feeder. In the end, I only used the waterer and not the feeder. Another thing they could've done was install legs on the feeder as well. As anyone that's had chicks before knows, they tend to kick up pine shavings all into both the waterer and the feeder.

Amazing, no more dirty water!
I wish I bought these sooner for my little chicks and ducklings. I initially bought the little food and water combo from Tractor Supply. That one got food and all kinds of mess in their water. I was having to clean it multiple times a day and only filling it a little bit. This set is SOO much better. The option to elevate the water as the babies grow keeps it from getting dirty and excessive water changes. The handle is nice on the top for transporting their water to the brooder. The food container is fairly standard, nothing to complain about there. Save your money and get this set from the beginning to go into your brooder.
