I use this for many things, with more to try. So much flexibility and time savings.
The Joyo Orthros Selector pedal is handy for so many things. Easy to set up, I don't hear any added noise, and the volume controls are so helpful. I use it to switch between 2 or 3 guitars into 1 amp, or to switch in or out loops of other effects pedals, or (very cool) to run different effects in parallel. Haven't tried running 1 guitar into two amps yet, can also see sending one output into my audio interface and other(s) to my amp(s) to record a clean signal direct while recording amp output with a mic (zero latency while playing and lots of mixing/reamping/effects options later in my DAW). Pedal is constructed well, looks nice. I wish it could be smaller but six guitar cables, power cable, 3 knobs and a foot switch need some real estate. I even enjoyed learning about the mythology of "Orthros" on the web.

Versatile
I think this is great. The pedal has two independent channels. You can turn both off, one on, or stack them both on. Each has volume, tone, gain, hard clipping, and soft clipping. I have it right before a cab sim that also has two channels. With different combos of the four channels, I can get every tone from soft rhythm to crunchy accents to bright leads to distorted chugs. I'm particularly a fan of the tone I can get by using an envelope filter right before this. Perfect funky wah wah sound.

Sounds great! But does have some minor issues.
Well, the value for the money is there. You can dial in plenty of lush sounding huge reverb or dial it back for a really nice subtle spring or plate effect, so it’s quite versatile. It immediately replaced the mini-universe (over hyped and very poorly designed) on my board and I prefer it over my vintage Holy Grail as well. All of the settings serve their intended purpose aside from the Reverse, which really just seems like a swell more than anything. The trail effect is also extremely nice. Build quality is solid, as are all the Joyo pedals in this design. Now for some minor complaints: There’s a hiss, even when the pedal is not engaged. It’s a VERY faint hiss, and barely noticeable even at higher volumes, but it is there. The worst thing about this is that the pedal is perfectly silent bypass - until you first turn the effect on and then even when you turn the effect off, the hiss will remain until the unit is entirely powered down (unplugged). The flashing of the LEDs anytime you tweak a knob is pretty annoying. The pedal expects you to save your preset anytime you want to make any tiny adjustment at all. It will not stop blinking until you do re-save it. Not an intuitive feature and really unnecessary altogether. This also means that anytime you switch to the reverb you want to use in the moment, you are going to be loading the previous preset you had saved, no matter where the knobs are set. I’m all for having presets available, but this was just a poor way to implement the feature.Anyway, it was worth the $85 and is definitely going to get plenty of use. If the above issues aren’t a deal breaker (they aren’t for me) then I’d definitely recommend it. It was this or the Joyo Atmosphere and I chose this because it seemed to be a bit of an upgrade.

More gain than an overdrive, not quite a distortion pedal
I can’t compare this to an actual Precision Drive, but it’s a pretty interesting pedal. Definitely hotter than your typical overdrive pedal, but not quite a distortion pedal. The gate feature works pretty well. I find that in front of my Mesa Mark V:25, it’s a little too gainy for me. Someone else might love it. Your milage may vary?

An amazing alternative to AnalogMan's King of Tone (KoT) pedal.
Considering the AnalogMan King of Tone (KoT) pedal has a waiting list that spans a guitarist's entire career, I decided to give this Joyo King of Kings a shot while I wait. And honestly, I've A/B'd against the real deal in a friend's studio, and it's pretty darn close - almost indistinguishable. Now, one costs less than $60 and the other costs hundreds plus a wait. Yes, I'm on the KoT waiting list too and will continue to wait. However, this Joyo does do the job beautifully, looks great, feels great, and sounds fantastic in a mix. You really cannot go wrong with this pedal, especially for the money. And yes, I own hundreds of pedals from budget to boutique, possessing a deep passion for overdrives. Give this one a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed, if not just to have an affordable version of your prized possession at your disposal.

Great Pedal for the Price!
Good quality and does just what I need it to do. Based on the Boss Line Selector, only half the price. I actually think the build quality may be superior to the Boss original.

You get what you get
I got this pedal in a budget. My Boss Rv-5 just died some time over 5/6 years that I took a break. Started doing acoustic shows again and what need a reverb pedal in a crunch and on a BUDGET. I’m not gonna trash the pedal because studio, church, plate have have a 2.5 out of 5 stars, Decay & Mix 3 out of 5. Tone -5 out of 5. It’s does work. Had to my electric pedal board I give the same -5 out of 5. Only reason I gave it a 2 star is the build, decay, and mix. Plus I’m on a tight budget. Joyo makes great clones and great mini amp heads but they dropped the ball on this one. If you’re looking for a half way decent reverb and on a budget get it, other than that save your money. Electro-Harmonix, Boss, TC Electronic, JHS. Sorry that’s my two cents!
