I have a different random brand of carpet tiles elsewhere that was at the top of the "random brand" recommendations and these Mohawk tiles are far superior. They fit together perfectly, don't shed or have loose strings, and feel good and substantial on bare feet.I hesitated because they were expensive, but would definitely buy these again.

I had the most hideous floors that I hated so much lol When I redecorated my bedroom, I looked for black carpet tiles that were 24x24 and made in the USA until I found this. I’m happy to say that I love it so much! The color carbon is a dark black which I wanted. The quality is also great. Not flimsy. The only thing it does show every little speck of dirt but I knew that before purchasing. I have a portable vacuum for that. Also, the carpet tiles do not have adhesive so be mindful of that.

Easy to install

The smell lingers a long time, unpleasant chemical odor. Both boxes ordered broke open during shipping & corners are frayed as a result. The carpet is okay and good quality, a bit rough on bare feet.

Very easy to lay, don’t have to prearrange in a pattern. Very sturdy and turned out beautifully. My mother was overjoyed.

Easy to install and maintain.

A much needed but disappointing purchase. I viewed the videos which showed installation and the adhesive tabs to install. Unfortunately, there were no written instructions or adhesive tabs in the box (huge as Amazon repackages makers box in their own box). I later found out staggering the tiles by 12 inches yields a better looking installation. This is a good product but I had to buy double sided carpet tape to install properly and never did the 12 inch spacing because I had no instructions. I suspect this may have been a returned item, resold incomplete. If not, Mohawk needs to get its act in order.
