TPFOON Wired Controller Compatible with PS2, Remote Joystick Gamepad Double Shock Compatible with Playstation 2 (Non-Slip Black)

Owing to the fact that a genuine PlayStation 2 controller is anywhere from $20 to $50, I have to say I was amazed to find this one! It works and feels exactly like a genuine Sony controller! I can play my games, without the buttons sticking; something which I have experienced with other generic controllers. Honestly, I might purchase another one of these to have is a backup or in case friends or family want to play a two-player game.

OK, the buttons work well. Everything is where it should be for the most part.The main two complaints I have 1) the cord is too short, and keeps pulling out of the console, and more significantly the joy sticks do not have the resolution of the OEM Sony controllers. So, although it works, you keep jagging back and forth across the battlefield as if you have some kind of nerve disorder. It's probably a good controller to give to your opponent.

As soon as I received the product I plugged it into my PlayStation to have a go. I immediately noticed that my button inputs (both D-pad and symbols) would sometimes not work and I would have to apply immense pressure to make them work again. The more egregious problem however, is the twin sticks. You can use both at the same time, if you do one stops working. Multiple times I tried to aim while moving and found myself strafing uncontrollably. Pressing RB also would pause the game so that’s fun too.

I'm a little disappointed. The controller didn't even past 2 months. And we only play 2 days a week, so that's even more disappointing. It worked great when we first got it. The left stick was very accurate - and still is. Usually that's the first thing to break. Now the triangle button just randomly activates in its own, then the shock engages, then the select button engages. It's kind if haunted!! And very annoying. I'm not returning it, as we did get 2 months of use out if it. But just now it may not last very long.

I think I got a lemon, not going to play with the return not worth it. I am going to puchase 1 more and then update this review

I recently decided I wanted to replay through some PS2 games, but my controller had buttons that no longer worked. This third party controller works great and is exactly what I was looking for. The button placement is the same as the official controller. My only complaint is the cord is a bit too short. Other than that this is a nice alternative for a PS2 controller.

Just ok. Seems to work like a controller should but my daughter says the cord is much too short for her to play on her bed as compared to the other one we have which reaches just fine. Other than that it works OK. We went ahead and ordered another one but it is wireless. Will see how it works when it comes in. But this one is decent I guess.

This controller was exactly what we needed and it was well worth the price. The price was an excellent price at that.
