Off white and pillow sham print didn't match

This set of quilt and shams is a nice, rustic set for a king-sized bed. However, the quality is not as great as expected. The quilt is printed (so not a real quilt design), and it is polyester, not cotton. It is wrinkle resistant, so that's nice. For the value, it seems to lack quality.

Beautiful design and appropriate weight for Summer. Love it!

I ordered the king size FRENCH CONNECTION Blanket for my queen size deep-pocket mattress; king size provided complete coverage for the 16” deep pocket queen-sized mattress. The quilt was sewn well and the material was light in weight; suited more for use during the spring and summer months. The Aztec-like design was visually appealing, but the reversibility of the blanket was not a consideration for me, because the opposite side was white and I’m not interested in laundering the blanket as often as white would require.The cotton/polyester blend of the FRENCH CONNECTION blanket softened the polyester coarse effect of the material, but the quilt doesn’t seem to be stuffed with quilt batting or any other filling. In my evaluation, the construction of the blanket consisted of stitching two fabrics together in a quilt pattern fashion. Nonetheless, the weight and the style of the blanket was what I was looking for spring and summer months.

This is a very pretty set and a great deal for the money.It’s a perfectly light summer weight.The outside top print is very modern and neutral in black, white, and gray.The reverse side is plain light gray.I love that it comes with nice sized shams for pillows too to make up a nice looking and coordinating bed.I also like that it’s compact enough to wash all parts in the machine together and have it dry easier than a full and plushy wide comforter.Overall I’d recommend the set.

I took a few close up photos of the material so you can see better what it looks like on either side.My reason for choosing this in colder weather was for our own circumstances. We have steam heating. It's incredible how quickly the home is flooded with heat. Unfortunately when you are trying to sleep this isn't great. So I have this quilt underneath a few layers of fabric blankets. It's working great.This is definitely for warmer weather and I can tell you I feel a bit cooler with this covering me. It's fairly thin but it does work exactly as I'd hoped. Plus it does look really nice. I like the design of it.There is a downside to it, for me at least. The description says decadently soft. Well, it's not. I'm not going to complain or shoot it down because it's softish in an ok sort of way but I can't say there's anything decadent about it. It's not plush or half as good as some of the other blankets we have around the home. Notably some of those other blankets didn't cost $80 either.But I would say it will do well enough once summer comes around, unless it gets really hot I can imagine this is ok for year round use. And in that you may get real value for money.
