Good alternative to my straight razor when I am lazy
I usually use my straight razor/barber knife to shave, but when I am in more of a hurry or a bit lazy, I use this as it is simple and easy to use and can't slice me open like the razor. :)But for when I am not in a hurry, nothing beats the Facon razor, which I recommend to any desiring a good shave. 100 BLADES + Facón Professional Wooden Straight Edge Barber Razor - Salon Quality Cut Throat Shavette

Not Water Resistant
I owned this shaver for three months. While it worked it was great; however, after a couple months the on-off switch and then the charging LED became erratic. I called customer support, but a recording stated that there would be a $9 charge to speak to a representative about an out of warranty items (warranty is 30 days). I opened the shaver and found that it was suffering from corrosion due to water intrusion. The only water exposure was washing the head in accordance with Panasonic's owner's manual.

It's Dead, Jim!
It was nice while it worked, but it stopped after two months. It just does not turn on.I like Panasonic electric shavers, but this one is clearly a lemon.

Okay, But Not Great
This is an okay shaver, but not a great one. It's noisy to the point that when I am shaving with it against my cheek bones, I can't hear the radio. It also takes many passes to do a reasonable job. I've used it for about a month now, and I'm not impressed. Durability over the long haul? I don't know.

Outstanding shave without unnecessary bells and whistles
Panasonic has always made great shavers, but in the past few years, they have gone “upscale” with many of their models, adding features that make only a slight difference in shave quality but a big difference in price. It’s good to see they are able to still put out a solid, high-quality shaver at a reasonable price. The build quality is very good. It’s not as ingot-solid as razors such as the Braun 7 series – it is a lot more plasticy, but the plastic is of good enough quality to avoid a “cheap” feel to it. The sculpting on the handle makes is one of the most comfortable to hold shavers I’ve ever used. There are ample grip points to maintain a secure hold even with wet hands.Controls are simple: just an on button. There’s also a very simple battery level indicator. No screen; no digital readout. Granted those look nice but they only add to the cost rather than improve the shave. The shave quality is excellent, as it is with other Panasonic ARC shavers. It cuts smoothly, quickly and gently. While it does not reach the absolute pinnacle of closeness as you can get with higher-end razors when shaving dry, it gets more than close enough to provide an excellent shave.I have been using this more as a wet shaver, which provides for just a wee bit more closeness. It’s important to use a very thin gel-type cream (or even soap) since thicker, foamy creams will make the shaver bog down. Go easy on the shave cream and you’ll get an outstanding wet shave.Cleanup is easy – rinse and go. There’s no cleaning station or stand with this model, and their absence is not missed. Panny razors have always been very simple and easy to clean under running water. The added bonus is that Panny blades tend to last longer than other brands. They suggest replacing the foil every year and the blades every two years, but I have gone much longer than that with my other Panasonic razors, and I expect the same for this.No complaints at all. If you’re looking for a solid razor that performs very well, and are not interested in (or don’t want to pay for) frills, this should be on your short list. Highly recommend.

Works good!
I have owned this now for about 3 months, and am quite satisfied with it, as I used to use a rotary shaver for the last 25 years.

Tiny shaver
Probably got what I paid for. Quite small, small surface area to the blades which makes shaving slower. Motor not as powerful as many Panasonics. No low battery indicator. But close and comfortable.
