Maggie Gin's Sweet & Sour Sauce

Excellent sauce. Just the right amount of sweet and sour, but what really sets it apart is that it uses Xanthan Gum as a thickener rather than Corn Starch which is hard to find since most sauces use Corn Starch. Corn Starch tends to result in dipping sauces that are too think with a somewhat jelly like consistency whereas this sauces flows more smoothly thanks to Xanthan Gum.

This stuff is amazingly tasty! I was lucky enough to stumble across it one time, at a small local grocer, but then it vanished from the shelves. Amazon to the rescue!!! I was actually really happy to find it here, because it is such a delicious and versatile sauce -- BBQ's, stir fry, rice dishes, it compliments chicken, pork, even salmon, and I even use it to replace or augment prepared dishes from Trader Joe's, or other stores. It's devoid of the usual toxins, with the only "non-food" additive being xantham gum, which, if you research it, is fine, no red flags on it, for our health. Even the coloring comes from paprika, instead of fake chemicals, so this is truly a naturally sourced product. I think it's the best tasting sweet and sour sauce, ever, with just the right amount of tang, a sweet flavoring of pineapple, and a perfect consistency I buy it by the case when I run out, and it always comes with a solid expiration date, about a year away, so a case of six lasts me almost a year. Get this sauce! You'll love it!

This is the best Sweet and Sour sauce we have found. Whether supplementing a take-out meal or just adding it to our rice, we love it. It has just the right level of spice for the whole family to enjoy. We tried several other brands before finding Maggie Gin's Sauce. Now, I keep an extra bottle in the pantry so we don't run out of it.

This sweet & sour is fabulous! It is delicious. It is probably the best I have had. It is impressive and even visually appealing with the beautiful rich color golden orange color. In my opinion the price is great for this great tasting sweet & sour sauce. Try it you’ll like it!!
