Excellent pocket hole screw
I was finishing up a major project, on a Thursday, and realized I was going to be short some 1 1/4" fine thread pocket hole screws. None were available locally. The quickest I could get a box of the major brand was on the following Monday for 6.97. I saw the Milescraft for 3.99 and available for next day delivery (Friday). Upon receipt I compared the two and the Milescraft looks exactly the same as the other brand except this has a T20 Torx head instead of the S2 square head. In side by side comparison I see no other difference. In testing this 1 1/4" fine thread in red oak, it pulled the two pieces of wood tight without breaking or splitting the wood. I used my "well used and worn" T20 bit. My only issue was that the screw did not seat snugly in the bit. I therefore missed the ability of a one handed operation of inserting and driving the screw into the pocket hole. Not a real big deal, but an aggravation. (I received my Milescraft T20 3" and 6" driver bits a day later. I was pleasantly surprised to notice both drivers held the screws snugly for a one handed operation!) I am GLAD I took the chance on the Milescraft brand, I will definitely be looking forward to saving some serious money on my future pocket hole screws!

These are great and as stated they are rust free
Great screws. I use them to secure a shower pan to studs in a bathroom remodel. I could not find these in local big box stores but Amazon had them at a semi decent price and I was really adamant about rust and tarnish free quality to them as the last pan that was in there exhibited severe rust that made the heads of those screws almost fall off. I'm hoping these go the distance

Excellent pocket screw alternative!
These have been great -- using them with my Kreg R3 jig, and couldn't be happier. They've been working great and I appreciate that I can use a regular star bit with them. Highly recommend.

I like these better than kreg
Love these screws, the star drive doesn't strip as easy as square drive and just as secure. You won't be sorry.
