Well Made on the Fence About the Purchase
I have been Using Davinci Resolve since version 9. I love the power of its color grading capacity, it is the best of all color adjustments amongst other software. I have 2 C300 MK I cameras and one MK II. Both models allow for good grading. Using the mouse is great especially a Trackball to make color grade adjustments. I was fine with all of that over the years. Recently, I noticed the original price of $3,000 had went down to $2,000 for the Mini Panel so I reluctantly purchased it. I am a person who was very comforatble with my workflow and was on the fence about this product and ready to send it back.... Now 5 days into the ownership, I GET IT. All features, knobs, and interaction with the Davinci Software Makes REAL Professional Sense! The analog approach to grading adds ease of use and REAL SMOOTH Grading to your workflow. This is like having the $29,000 Version of the panel compared to using no Panel at all. This Panel is an absolute MUST HAVE to graduate to Professional Color Grading. Please GO FOR IT!!! You will Thank Me, but most of all YOURSELF! Now go out and Make that Money!!

Great for at home setup
Bought these so I could build an at home setup for color and not have to commute to the office to do any color work. While these obviously don't have all the features of the Advanced Panels, they're great for every day work, and combined with a keyboard with the right preset, you can do everything you need. They're also fairly compact if you don't have a ton of room, or a smaller desk.My only gripe with these so far is the buttons are a little hard to press, and don't have the satisfying clack of the advanced panels. And there's also no save button...truly baffling. Otherwise they have everything I needed for my at home panels to have and I'm glad I bought them. Was very excited when I unboxed them and started using them.

A must for anyone working SLog3 (or 2 or SLog)
Very solid unit. Does exactly everything I need for color adjustments with DaVinci Resolve. The rings and balls are very precise with excellent feel. Make sure you update to the latest firmware so that the displays will turn off when not in use. As with all things DaVinci and BMD, it just works, no fuss, fire up Resolve and it detects the Mini Panel and all good to go.Oddly the unit did NOT come with a power cord? Fortunately I have plenty spare computer power cords so not a big deal, but if you order this unit, then I recommend you get one of these (or equivalent):https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072BYGKZZ/ref=ewc_pr_img_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&th=1

Perfect
As a professional colorist with 42 years of experience, I had already used this panel as well as other aftermarket panels and already knew this was superior to products costing quite a bit more. Solid professional quality and nice coordination with Blackmagic daVinci Resolve software, plug and play with one USB cable. I even like the compact form factor better than the Resolve Studio panels which are very showy but more cumbersome to actually work with. I've added a Koolertron 44 button programmable keyboard for the buttons I frequently use that are not on this panel and I'm good to go.

Worst support
Support from blackmagic is non-existant, have to power cycle the unit all the time because resolve won’t recognize it if the unit went into sleep mode peeviously

Suicide Prevented
After purchasing this board, I went from having to do color... to getting to do color. It was instant gratification, as color isn't something you should really do with a mouse and hotkeys alone. If you don't have a USB-C port to purchase it, you'll need to power it with a standard IEC cord like the ones that have been the standard in powering computers and monitors for years, if you have one laying around. If you don't, they're cheap. Also, there's no off-switch for some reason. I solved for this by buying a short, $8 IEC extension cable with a switch on it. Specifically, you can search Amazon for "Duttek 1Ft IEC 320 Mains Power C14 to C13 Male to Female Extension Cord Cable with Switch Standard Computer to PDU Power Extension Cord" and be good.I can't speak to the 1-star voter's issue -- my iMac instantly worked with Resolve. It was at least simple enough that I can't remember even having to set Resolve to recognize the board. If I did, it's a simple process. This experience came after great frustration with two less expensive Ethernet-connected color boards by two competitors that have since cancelled both devices. So if you're on Resolve and are worried you'll have similar issues with your ethernet boards, rest-assured that you can rest-assured.
