This build was a pleasure to build. This was one of those builds were a lot of colorful bricks were used internally as visual indicators, which kept me wondering how things would come together. Boy did it come together - and this thing is SOLID. I did not have enough time to finish the build in a single day - and when I handed this off to my son to sit on the shelf, he commented that the build could cause blunt force trauma - it is THAT solid. I think the three most challenging part of the build were 1) connecting the wiring for the engine just because it is slightly delicate with a few pieces to maneuver around. The wiring pieces fit very well into the sockets, keeping this part challenging in a fun way - not in a frustrating way. 2) Placement of the plastic rods that make up the façade of the majority of the sides of the speeder - I placed one rod at a time, performing the placement of the rods from back-to-front - and that went really smoothly. 3) Always challenging is sticker placement, however the stickers used are fairly large for many of the pieces. This was a great build - lots of nostalgia of the Kenner version from the late 70's.

This was the first UCS that I built and it was pretty simple, nothing too complicated. I watched the entire second season of mandolorian, including credits and special features, just to give you an idea of how long it can take to build. I’m satisfied with the final look, but I would recommend to buy this when it’s on sale if you can. The UCS collection are quite pricey. This is one of the cheaper ones but I would still buy it cheaper than what Lego is selling it for.

If you've never built any of the LEGO sets from this series before, prepare an entire shelf for this thing. This build will take you multiple hours and will need a lot of space to be put on display. The details are amazing and this is one of the best LEGO builds I've ever done. I wouldn't recommend this for kids, but adults will have a lot of fun with this.

Well although I wouldn't declare this is my favorite, I believe it was my favorite construction. This was a load of fun to build.. Smooth and a satisfying finished model. I made a minor altercation in the Display. Can you see it?

This was a great build. My only beef is that it is way too small to fit me and my family in for those outings to Mos Eisley. Maybe I'll see if there's a moisture farmer nearby who wants it.
