I bought my children a few pieces from this Christmas line. The carry on cases as well as the Christmas market . They are all perfect and amazing. But this one is just beyond.The details are beautiful. And of course it is Playmobile quality.But really pretty. It is sitting on our table and whenever they want to they play with it.I had to help them put it together. Lot's of pieces but so worth it. Didn't take that long. Instructions are well explained and if not, look at the picture of the box. It is really a simple construction but takes a bit of afford to get some of the smaller pieces together.But it is beautiful. The box is not a great storage box, so I will get a better container. I don't want to take it apart ;-)But it is worth the money. Nice gift for the Playmobile fan. Sturdy quality, well made. I totally love it.

This is really cute. As a grandmother I put this together for a display for grandkids toplay with when they come for Christmas. It takes patience and I suggest that you readover all the directions as on the last page they show you how to use the little tool thatcomes with the set. Details are wonderful with Playmobil and there are lots of smallparts. I put some putty under the cat, mouse, Santa's book, cups and coffee pot so theywill stick to items better and not get lost. I also glued on the Christmas tree decorationsas they fell off with handling and I don't want my cats to eat them.

Oh my the detail! A little mailbox, a wood pile and an ax with a stump, a Christmas tree and ornaments, a snowman and wild animals, a pot bellied stove, a naughty and nice list, even little boxes to wrap gifts inside and all the comforts of home for Santa and his reindeer. It did require adult assembly but will be loved and played with for generations. The perfect set for some yuletide dramatic play I get these out at Thanksgiving time for my grandchildren to play with until after the holidays when I box it back up--only to come out again with the appeal of a brand new toy the next year.

We bought this for my son for Christmas and given that we've had a few Playmobil sets I was expecting a few assembly items but not to the level this was. I had to placate an anxious two year old while I Mike Holmes assembled the entire house. The pieces click together but it took some time which was frustrating.However, I will say that this is an amazing play set for the price. It came with lots of small items for great imaginative play. The wood stack even has a tiny mouse that lives inside. Its a great set, it really is, just be prepared for a fair amount of assembly.

I ordered this for my grandchildren to put together and play with. Unfortunately, it is not possible for 8 year olds to put this house together - so we put it together as a group. Good visual instructions, all the pieces were there, and also the tools required to put it together.We had lot's of bonding time working together to build Santa's house.Well made, I would recommend this product for parents or grandparents to put together with their kids. Caution: lots of small loose parts that could easily be swallowed by an infant.

I'm a kid at heart with kids of my own. As soon as I saw this adorable Playmobil Santa House I wanted it badly, and my 4 yr old son agreed 100%. Adult Assembly, but quite fun to do all together. And all put together its soooo cute! Tons of little accessories for Santa and his elf. We have this under our tree for decoration and my son can't help but play with it everyday. Great imaginative fun, I would've just loved this as a child too. Great quality too! Highly recommended!

Cheap material that does not assemble good

If you are looking for a Holiday Toy for your grandkids this is the one to get along with the Santa's Sleigh. I gave these to my grandkids on Thanksgiving weekend and they have played with them non stop every day since. Grandkids are ages 3, 4 and 7. I would say the 4 year old seems to be the most in love with this set. It also makes a nice kid's bedroom decoration they can play with and touch, not just look at.
