Works well, easy to connect. I run this with the “car scanner” app for iOS and use it to monitor live engine temp, trans temp, coolant temp, etc. I’ve had it plugged in for several days and no issue draining my battery, but I would remove this if your car won’t be ran in over a week to be safe. 1998 BMW Z3

Works great for chevy bolt and even ICE cars . Easy to pair with phone Bluetooth. I have one plugged in long term in EV bolt to read battery status. Not sure if it is meant to be used that way but no issues so far.

This saved me like $1500 at the car dealer. On limited budget I found a new replacement car battery for my Murano Nissan for $107. While shopping for batteries - most quoted $250 plus - I used the car charger from Amazon which meant every night for a week my battery was dead.When I got the new battery installed the car engine sounded rough. I worked with ChatGPT to identify possible causes being all the DATA the car relies on for timing etc had been erased each time battery died.PLUS there were red engine lights. So Chat and I decided to get this little “dongle”, and working together we plugged into the car, and reset all the data.Engine warning light - gone! Chat told me to drive a week or two to let the Internet diagnostic tracking get used to my driving again.ChatGPT and this inexpensive device saved me $$$$$ which I didn’t have and now 3-4 months later it’s smooth as before.What a wonderful thing! And - I’m a semi retired female who does not repair cars!!

This worked great over my old one. I use the DashCommand app with it. No need for wifi now so that’s great. In iOS make sure to have dashcommand use Bluetooth! Spent some time trying to get that sorted.Otherwise works on a number of different vehicles I have.Also comes in a nice little box now for storage. (Unlike the older models)Would recommend!

Worked well with the free Car Scanner app on my iphone to read codes on my 2021 Ford Ranger. After I had made repairs to the vehicle this also allowed me to clear the codes that were causing the check engine light to be on. I will be looking at purchasing a used car soon and plan to use this and the information it provides to help make an informed decision.

Great for displaying live data in my boosted Silverado. For the price I feel this tool offers great functionality and even rivals more expensive alternatives such as blue driver.
