Perfect
I had one before but it works great! Trimmed atleast 100 pieces and all perfect! Great low cost trimmer! If you want to change length place a piece of lead shot in the cutter hole 🕳 or something. I recommend adding a golf ball just drill a 1/2 hole in one which is the exact size of the cutter body and it'll fit tight and never spin or come off 👍

Great little tool
This is a great tool for consise repeatable quick brass trimming. Can be done with a hand held drill motor, but I prefer using a drill press. The caliber gauges must be bought separately. I just replaced mine and found that the gauge overtime will rub a little indent into the holder. Example: final brass length of a 30-06 using the 30 year old holder is 2.485 min trim length consistently. Using the new holder same gauge 2.487 inches. Both well within the 2.495 max length.

I can see why the version with the ball handle is better
I'm loading on a progressive press and do all of my case prep on it. While waiting for a specific trim die, I needed something to get me going while my backorder was filled. This inexpensive little item fit the bill and worked pretty good. I will say this, I don't know how handloaders use only these to trim brass, even chucked in a drill. Here's the process for using this: 1. Thread the stop pin into your Lee cutter all the way down 2. Chuck the lock stud into your drill (faster the better IMO) 3. Slide a casing into the lock stud and tighten 4. Start the drill, and stick the cutter/pin into your casing until you no longer feel resistance 5. Remove the casing and measure All of my cases reliably trimmed down to a 2.007" measurement. Min is typically 2.005", so that's not too bad at all. It did take me forever to get 40 cases trimmed, and this thing does toss brass shavings everywhere, so wear eye protection and maybe even a glove on your trimmer hand to protect against brass splinters. My hand was killing me after only 40 cases and this was while wearing a glove. I was really happy to receive my Dillon Rapid Trim a few days later! I imagine the cutter with the wooden ball head would be much more comfortable to use, but I'd never go back from my Dillon trimmer. But with no other options, and for less than $20 for both parts needed, this got me by and did it accurately.

Attach to a 1/4" magnetic bit tip holder
attach to a magnetic quarter inch hex bit tip holder like is commonly used to switch from star drive to phillips on your hex drive drill. Otherwise the lock stud falls out of a hex drive drill. Using a battery powered drill is the way to process lots of cases at a time.

Time saver
Great product. Purchased 2 calibers, 22-250 and 22 Hornet. For these calibers works as well as my Wilson and is way way faster.
