Tastes Great, Priced Really High
At $7 a box, it's just hard to get excited about these. That being said, if you're okay withthe price, I think you'll really like these noodles. The flavor is good, the consistency is just fine (the noodles were a smidge firm when cooked as per the box, but I bet if we boiled them another minute or two they would have been fine), and the cheese isn't too runny or thick. Cooking instructions were pretty normal and these were easy to make. Our two year old, who is the Resident Mac'n'cheese Expert loved these and ate more than I did. He hammered these down without a second thought. The adults also enjoyed these, but again, that price is hard to get past. Are these healthier than "regular" mac and cheese? It sure looks like it, the nutrition label is packed with all sorts of goodies. What's also great is that they did that without making this taste like cardboard-- these are very good. However, are they worth 4x the price of the competition? I personally don't think so.

Tasty- but costly
I ate a lot of “Kraft Dinner” when I was a college student, and even more off-brand boxed macaroni and cheese dinners. It was a cheap, fast, meal, one you could afford on a student assistant salary. Years later I tried some of the Kraft competitors, and most of them weren’t very good. Even those that advertised themselves as being a healthier alternative, with all natural ingredients. This one is different. The noodles are a mix of wheat and chickpea flour and have good flavor and good texture. The cheese sauce co gains a variety of vegetables and mushrooms. The result is a tasty dish with better nutrition than the usual instant mac’n’cheese. There’s a lot to like about it, and really only one thing to dislike: The price, which works out to $6.75/box.

Delicious but a bit high priced
The ingredients in this mac and cheese are all pretty healthy which is a switch from most other brands. The flavor is excellent and they are easy to make. I did add butter to make them richer. The price is a bit high but the quality is also higher than the other brands so I guess you get what you pay for. All things considered I would definitely buy this again.

Delicious and Healthier Alternative to Blue Box Mac & Cheese
If you're looking for a rich and creamy mac and cheese that's both healthier and less salty than the blue box brands, the Goodles Shella Good Mac & Cheese is a fantastic option to consider. The cheesy shells are fast and easy to make, has excellent flavor, and each serving has 14g of Protein, 6g of Fiber, and no artificial flavors or preservatives. To make, simply boil the pasta for about 10 minutes, drain, then mix the pasta with a 1/4 cup of milk and the powdered cheese sauce. You can add butter for a richer flavor if you want to, or even substitute the milk with cream, but I found it worked just fine with practically any milk percentage. The resulting mac and cheese was rich and cheesy and I liked how it wasn't quite as salty as other brands. The only real issue I have with the mac and cheese is that it's really pricey for the amount of pasta you receive. While it's not something I would purchase often, it's worth trying if you're looking for a healthier mac and cheese and price is no object. Overall, it's good mac and cheese as long as you can afford it.

Tastes Good but Sauce Too Watery, Very Expensive
Prepared according to directions and omitting the butter, the sauce is much too watery for my taste. It's fast and easy to fix, which is always appealing to me. It makes about 2 1/2 cups of macaroni when prepared and comes to about 700 calories per box. It has a ton of healthy ingredients, but also a ton of sodium at 600 mg per cup, which comes to 1500 mg for the box. Ouch! As a mac and cheese lover, it was no challenge for me to eat the entire 2 1/2 cups at one sitting. At that point, as far as the sodium, this was no longer a healthy choice. It would have been even worse if I'd added the butter, as I was sorely tempted to do when I fixed it. As an occasional indulgence, this Goodles Shella Good mac and cheese makes a nice treat in spite of the high sodium content, but at this current price of $26.99 for four boxes, which comes to $6.75 per box, I don't see myself ordering it again.

So much healthier than what we ate back in our younger days
These boxes remind me of the early days of our marriage where boxes of generic macaroni and cheese were a regular part of our diet. These mac and cheese dinners are so much healthier than we had in our early days. They have prebiotics added and all of the ingredients are healthy for us. They taste very good too although they are costly, but we can afford to eat healthy now so we'd rather have this than what we had in our younger days.

So delicious
I thought this was going to taste like the other "healthy" mac and cheese and have a weird cheesy foot aftertaste. I was surprised how decadent and delicious this tasted. The instructions were easy to follow and very similar to traditional mac and cheese. The only difference is that butter is optional here but, I definitely added butter to mines. The cheese sauce tasted like real delicious cheese and it was so creamy. The only reason why I didn't give this 5 stars is that it's pretty expensive for a box of mac and cheese. Currently, it's a little over $6 a box and for that price I could buy something more substantial.

Tasty and easy to prepare
Very tasty mac and cheese. Easy prep makes it great for a quick snack, side dish, or light meal.
