U.S. Coins and Currency: A "Warman's" Companion

Great book

I was able to pick this up during the brief period it was free.As someone who knows little about coin and currency collecting, I found this a very interesting read. The information on how the market has changed over the past few years is quite useful. The grading scale is very handy. I figured worn coins were typically not worth much, but I didn't realize there was so much variation in coins never issued (due to damage from being in the bag).This would be very useful to a collector in the field, or someone who just wants an idea of what a collection they inherited might be worth.The companion does a great job of providing contact information for various societies that could be joined, also.

this book is perfect for what I needed thank you very much it has very detailed information about almost everything I needed to know

My 12 year old grandson has begun collecting coins - and he went crazy for this book - said it was the best overall information he had found!
