Purchased for headphones requiring a very specific 3.5 mm plug. The description told me these were for the specific model that I had -- and they were. A solid, quality product. Arrived swiftly.

I had been looking for a coil cord to replace my Oppo PM-3 headphones straight cord. This cords works very well for that purpose. I do find 2 issues I would like to see improved. 1. The coil is very tight. If it actually stretches out to 14', it would be very a tight stretch indeed. The jacket of the cable is some material similar to PVC or is PVC. As such it is not as supple like a more rubberized material would be. For these 2 issues I know a start off this review. All in all though, this is a great replacement cable for the Oppo PM-3 headphones.

First off this is a great cord! It's the one that SHOULD have come with the $200 plus Ath BT2 headphones! After spending good hard earned money on the headphones, it came with the wrong cord! A cheap, crappy one at that! When I contacted Audio Technica and customer service here on Amazon, they refused to replace the cord! I'll never buy Audio Technica again! Nice headphones but junk accessories to go with it! I've been testing a few different styles and brands of headphones and there are up and coming companies that do a way better job to impress customers with quality and accessories! Try Sound Core Q45s! Great headphones! Great Accessories! They beat the heck outta Audio Technica!! I like the ATs! but it's like I said, they don't care about their customers! They've gotten too big for their britches! As far as this replacement cord goes, it's perfect! And a good price! They try to sell you a similar cord on Audio Technica's homesite for over $100! Ripoff artists! Go for this one instead!

I ordered this cable to replace the small cable my ATH-M50xBT2 headphones came with. The cable is well made. The 1/4 inch adapter is screw on. Highly recommend.

Only issue I had was after an entire year of fidgeting and bending a certain piece of cable the wire for the left side of audio started cutting in and out. nothing to do with the product and everything to do with my adhd. 10/10 for use with a scarletsolo

It seems just fine and well made. Use it with my AT-M50xBT2, it works perfectly. In terms of sound quality, I can't really tell the difference (despite trying) with the original AT cable, which I guess is good. I need to be able to move around the room when working on my recordings, so I really like this spiral thing (which also looks good, like old headphones!), and it does its job fine. I didn't measure exactly but it's more than enough to walk around at maybe 3-4 meters/ 9-12 feet from the device without any problem - depending on the device of course, be carefull with smaller devices!). The only issue I had was when connecting this cable to a specific adapter (mono to stereo adapter) on a Zoom recorder. It actually worked, but the contact seemed really fragile, with interruptions when touching the connecting point or the adapter). Can't really tell what the problem was, but I can tell I didn't have this issue with the original AT cable. No big deal anyway, since it's really specific, and maybe part of the problem was the adapter itself. No problem at all with iPhone (lightning) adapter nor with my USB audio adapter (connecting to iMac, on picture), nor of course when connecting it directly to an 3,5mm output on any device. Didn't try the 1/4 inch adapter included with the cable for now, but it seems well made too and I'm confident it will work just fine, and it's nice to have it. Don't feel at all the weight on my left headphone as other reviewers mentionned (it should connect to the left headphone and not the right one, unlike these reviewers said, so maybe it explains why it feels unconfortable to them...!?). The only thing I don't really like about this cable is the jack connectors color : it would have been much nicer if they were solid matte black (like the rest of the cable) instead of this weird shiny purple-silver, which does't fit neither with the cable nor with the headphones. But it's not that bad in the end, I just hope they change this when they update their cable, it would make it the perfect cable!
