This tool really works! I have a road bike with carbon tubeless rims that I run tubes in. I have had the owner of a bike shop tell me my rims are the most difficult he has ever encountered to change tires/tubes. I recently had to change a tube on my rear wheel. I have new Continental Grand Prix four season tires. These tires have a third anti-puncture belt that goes sidewall-to-sidewall. I used my tire levers to take the tire off as I think the tyre glider removal portion is too wide for my very tight fit (no big deal). I do everything possible not to use tire levers to put the tire back on, since it is easy to pinch the tube with my tight fitting rims/tires. I inserted as much of the tire into the rim as possible by hand. There was no way I would be able finish inserting the tire into the rim by hand. I had at least six inches of the circumference of the tire sticking out of the rim. I figured I would try my Tyre Glider, which has been in my saddle bag for some time. The Tyre Glider allowed me to slide the balance of the tire into the rim with very little effort. No tire levers! Also, it appears that it would be very difficult to pinch a tube with the Tyre Glider. I saw a youtube video in which the author said the Tyre Glider would be good for mountain bike tires, but it was too difficult to use with road tires. I did not find that to be the case. I will likely be buying additional Tyre Gliders for my other bikes.

The Rehook Tyre Glider is a game-changer for on-the-road repairs. Many tires are difficult to reinstall after changing a tube, especially if it's cold outside or wet (exactly the times when you don't want to be spending 20 minutes on the side of the road in the weather). With the Tyre Glider, reinstalling the tire takes like 10 seconds. It's reliable even with cold fingers and a tough tire. You can push with the palm of your hand, so it's much easier to get leverage using your arms. Compared to traditional tire levers, for the few extra dollars this product costs it's a steal.

Excellent product and critical for removing tire from rim. I remember using a screw driver when I was a kid and had to replace a tube that had a hole in it. This tool put a BIG smile on my face and exceeded my expectations. Excellent !

Light weight, as easy or easier to use than standard tire levers.Works as described.You need a strong thumb.Could do with a smooother finish surface in areas.I still recommend it.

After using standard tire levers for years, and then trying the tire bead jack wrenches, so many tire beads are near impossible to install without losing knuckle skin or damn near breaking a thumb. I watched YouTube vids for this and was skeptical, but in practical use, this is the easiest, fastest, and least effort tool, because you leverage your body weight into the force both to take off and seat a tire - even the highest pain to install. Used properly this thing will last and decrease side of the road rage in taking care of those flats so much more easily.

Too small and can hurt your hand. The handle needs to be extended by another 2 inches. Concept is very good. Tested on Gatorskin tires. Was a b***h to use. Could not match the ease of use as demonstrated in the YouTube videos. A shame, cause I’m always intrigued by new gadgets. I gave it a 2.9/5.

Since it was time to change the tires on one of my road bikes, I finally plucked up the energy to give this tool a go, and it didn't disappoint. As an aging female cyclist with diminishing grip strength, I've recently struggled greatly with re-seating the extremely tight beads of my tires onto the rims. This tool is an absolute blessing for me. It glided effortlessly around the rim for removal, and once again to seat the new tire, even at the valve stem, which is a typically troublesome spot. I now have renewed confidence that I'll be able to deal with a roadside repair unassisted should the need arise. I recently bought a second tool to carry in the top tube bag for my duathlon racing bike.I strongly suggest watching the Rehook video, since the tool's design is so different from standard tire tools. It's very explanatory and helpful. The demonstrator is a slightly built woman, further proving the tool's ease of use. I found the instruction card the tool came attached to a little hard to decipher.
