Der Füllfederhalter liegt gut in der Hand und ist perfekt ausbalanciert. Das Material fühlt sich angenehm an und der hintere Teil aus Metall ist entgegen meiner vorherigen Befürchtungen kratzfest und nicht so empfindlich. Nicht irritieren lassen, wenn die Feder anfangs kratzt. Dies gibt sich nach einer Weile, wenn der Füller regelmäßig benutzt wird, Der Tintenfluss ist gleichmäßig und stockt nicht, wie ich es schon mal von einem anderen Füller des gleichen Herstellers erfahren musste. Der Füller ist nicht ganz preisgünstig, aber auf jeden Fall sein Geld wert und ich würde ihn wieder kaufen.

I'm really taken with this series — three great colors in matte finish. Writes smoothly and doesn't seem to dry up when left sitting. Does not come with converter but does have a cartridge. Great size for my hand, both girth and weight. Loving the Sonnets overall.

Beautiful, lacquered finish looks great. The pen feels good in the hand. It is correctly weighted, stylish looking and has a very pleasing snap when closing the lid.

I've used Parker pens in various forms over the course of my life so I do like them and expect a quality writing device from the inexpensive to the mid tier and beyond. This one does not disappoint.As seems to be the standard, higher grade writing devices always are wrapped around a bit of presentation. You get a well weighted box with a smooth opening function. Inside is the pen secured with a small retention band and over it a ribbon.Underneath the pen holder are two pre-filled cartridges. Inside the pen itself is a refillable cartridge.The feel and balance of the Sonnet Essentials Pen (SEP) is very nice and balanced. You can clip the cap on the top but I found this impedes a level stroke and it writes better without it in place. ink flow is immediate and even and most importantly when using a fountain or even ultra fine roller style pen the head is firmly in place with low to no deviation when writing.Overall it is a very nice fountain pen. My only knock is it is exactly as it says an essential model with no extra flair or design enhancements. You will receive what I would deem a very utilitarian fountain pen that could pass for any other ordinary mid tier pen. For the price I would have liked a touch more design.Still, if what you're looking for is a very competent fountain pen for writing with a very nice grip and firm, smooth delivery this is a great option.4/5
