Broke a couple of the smaller figures but glue fixed them. Never figured out how the rubber band worked with the wheels. Looks nice as a static model. ... an update ...Turns out the conductor and ticket seller were an item. Unfortunately the ticket seller passed. The conductor moved to the Isle of Tortuga.The tram was originally built by a reclusive billionaire from his dock to his mansion in the middle of the island. The elderly billionaire has retired to Des Moines.On Sundays, the locals walk the half mile or so to the idle tram.. The newsboy sold one of the three copies of the1967 local newspaper in 1968. In 2005 the last two copies were put in the island’s museum (converted from the reclusive billionaire's mansion).A local turtle was seen crossing (safely) over the no longer used tram tracks.Milk and Cheerios arw delivered monthly. While the billionaire’s birthday is unknown, July 23rd has been adopted as Tram Day.A TV series, “Islands of Discovery”, dismissed the location in 2007. The locals were happy to hear this.

I love this trolley, the fact that it travels the track and spins on the rail is wonderful. Add in the bridge and background scenery and it’s just stunning.

We bought this for my 92yo father-in-law as he's mostly housebound, but loves puzzles of different types. We haven't heard from him as to whether he's begun working on it yet, but he seemed quite pleased to have a challenge. It arrived in a timely fashion and seemed to have all parts. Would buy from this seller again.

Excellent product and very well designed! This was one of the best thought out projects that I’ve done, as it uses the wooden sheets in order so you’re not jumping around looking for a different pieces. Fairly easy project and it runs very well, lots of value for your money.

this was fun to build and works great. I wished Ugears would make more of these complex but smaller models. It looks great! runs flawlessly and is built solid so it wont fall apart. I would buy this again.

I'm working on this now and all I can say is watch out for splinters! The plywood is cheap and breaks off splinters easily.

Very fun to build. After you build the trolley you still have much more to build! This would keep you occupied for a day.

Using it on the mantel for Christmas!

This is a brilliant conception, though in my eyes could have been better executed. The kit is fine though some joints a bit delicate, care should be taken to avoid breakage, & the rubber band, as with all wind up bands, there is an initial burst of power, which the designers havnt managed to smoothen out, this means the tram shoots of initially & derails at the curve due to speed. I don't think I will buy another,though I do like the look of the railway engine. But it is a bit pricey. But I would like the challenge, of doing a battery electric motor conversion. anything to use up my dotage years.

This made a great present for my husband - he's not normally the type to make things but he's enjoyed putting this model together! The instructions are quite clear and straight forward, although you do need to be careful when pushing out the individual pieces - especially the track sections. My reason for giving it less that 5 stars is that it doesn't move quite as easily as the promo video would have you believe, although the movement seems to improve with use. Also, the brake/release mechanism is a bit fiddly - I feel this part could have been better designed.Overall, I feel this makes a great present and is a beautifully retro addition to any room.

This model is not for everyone I am a seasoned model maker the components are very delicateAnd needs lots of time to get them out especially the rails chairs roof of tram and the bridgePlease think carefully before buying

Good Quality Product. Bought this model as well as Horse and Motorbike. Easy to assembly and easy to follow instructions. Person who these were bought for was very pleased.

Bought for my partner who is a jigsaw puzzle fanatic.....she's enjoyed making this. She has told me it is hard to get some of the parts released but has enjoyed building the kit.
