My grandchild really likes reading this Bible. Graphics are good and make the pages interesting.

I bought this for my grandson/13. He has no problem with reading God's Word, but I thought this might be colorful and enjoyable. The stories are not a difference to scripture and he loves it. When ever he'd be relaxing, taking a break from school lessons this was the book he picked up. I bought him the companion books; one a journal and important people and places, to get a feel for the background. I would recommend it as a fun way to introduce the Bible stories. Especially to boys!

H is a very active 8-year old girl and is constantly moving - we call her The PM Machine. When she saw the Action Bible, she sat down and read it for hours, only stopping to ask question. We also gave her the Action Bible Handbook which is a companion for to and functions like an encyclopedia of names, places, etc., that occur in the Action Bible. We explained how the two worked together and that was all she needed. We definitely feel both should be gifted together. We also purchased the Action Bible Devotional but decided we would gift that later after she has consumed her new Bible. We highly recommend every Christian and even non-Christian purchase these book for their children and grandchildren. In fact, if you have never read a Bible and would learn about the Old and New Testament, these books are easy reads for children of all ages - from 7 to 107.

My boys love it.

The art is amazing. Includes old testament and new. The new testament version is also sold as a separate book. The stories are very simply to follow, 'chapters' are short which made for good 'before bed' reading each night. I cant believe how enthralled my kid is with this Bible, and I'm very happy for that! Cant recommend it enough.

Purchased this for my 10 year old son as a way to pique his interest in his faith. He was dubious, at first, but soon was reading it every night before bed!. He finished it in a few weeks and we have used it for meaningful family discussions since. I would not want this to be his ONLY exposure to the Bible, but it is has been--in our case--a fantastic complement to other Bibles and worship in general.

Beautifully illustrated and well written. My eight year old son loves reading it! I'm so happy for this alternative to traditional bible story books. Even I enjoy reading it with him. This is a great "must have" for kids!
