Now - I'm not one to be complimentary about a whisky glass, but, I will make an exception in this case. If you are having guests over for imbibement - who might not be as well controlled as yourself - these glasses are guaranteed to survive the night. I keep a set on my sailing yacht - since, it is not uncommon - even at anchor - to be thrashed about owing to some bad weather -or for guests to become rowdy ... and/or inebriated - mostly both! In either case, worry knot, your whisky glass will be intact at the end of the day. They are essentially unbreakable. These handsome glasses are durable, crystal clear, and mimic glass quite nicely. In fact, when I bought them I thought they WERE glass. I even tapped them and still thought: glass, but after handling them, it was apparent that they were waaay too light to be glass. Love them. I got an extra set for home. BTW - the fact that they are polycarbonate offers a fair amount of insulation to your cold drink that glass just doesn't do. If you pine for the look and feel of a sweating glass in summer - you might want to steer clear of these as - they are insulating enough that they do not sweat normally. I love these. They look like crystal, but are safely unbreackable for bathroom. So far they come out of the dishwasher as clear as when new.

Bought these as I am so clumsy with glass glass. These are perfect for that shot with ice and then sipping.

These glasses are beautiful and are the ideal size for sipping a fine whisky. The problem for me is their feel. Because they are plastic, they are very lightweight and that takes away from their charming aesthetic. Additionally, they lack the satisfying clink sound of ice on glass. These look good behind the bar but simply feel wrong for relaxing with a single malt Scotch. I give 4 stars because they fill the decorative role well and no one will be the wiser unless they pick one up.

On the box, they explain the material that’s used to make this more durable; a polycarbonate. This has a very smooth and comfortable feel, and they are nice to drink out of. Honestly, I’d replace all of my glassware with this type of material, it seems like it stays clean, and would clean easily, and not allow residue to stick on it. I’m incredibly happy with these!

They look real and handle like real glass, minus the weight and break ability. Great glasses for an outdoor environment where the possibility of breaking a glass might be an issue. Perfect for pool side or camping. Took these glasses to the hunting camp for the weekend. First thing my friend does is drop test it onto a wooden deck. Didn't scratch or break! Highly recommend.
