Valuable Read
This book is a very valuable resource to anyone having discussions around containers, automation and CI/CD pipelines. Jenkins, Docker and Ansible are covered and laid out with best practices for many different aspects of an entire solution. In my career field, we are constantly discussing with clients a transformative and modernized approach to gaining efficiency and consistency within an existing IT environment; the technology discussed in this book is key to proficiently architecting an agile solution that sets up a foundation for future rewards and success. For any IT, cloud or software professional, the technologies covered in this book are undeniably essential offerings that will be around for a while in the industry and underpin the mark of a future-proof solution. Even if you don't need to get very technical regularly, the book does a good job of being practically relatable yet still expansive for those looking for detailed expertise! Would highly recommend!

Just a marketing list of tools
This book mentions a whole lot of tools, architectural options and approaches to CI/CD, but you won't be able to do anything of any practical value using it, not even setting up a basic Jenkins environment. Just a huge bulleted list of marketing topics

All you need to know, and more
I started reading without checking the content list and I really liked how detailed the chapter introducing Continuous Delivery was. And the language used, in my opinion, makes it easy to understand even for beginners. After finally checking what else is in the book I was positively overwhelmed by the content. It's not a book only about how to use Jenkins and Docker, it explain what those two, and many more, are. Again, starting with basics. It may be something you'll read in one go, or a "go to" place to learn about something very specific.

A Must Read for Continuous Delivery
I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend even if you may end up using other CI/CD tools instead of Jenkins like CloudBees CI. The way it starts out with context on what each piece of continuous delivery is really helps set the stage for the more technical implementation steps that follow. The book does a great job going into great detail on the why before continuing on with specific technical steps. The book has a number of additional resources for you to learn even more as you expand your skill set. I would highly recommend this book if you are doing Continuous Delivery especially if you are looking to take advantage of what Docker can offer with Jenkins from a scalability perspective.

Excellent Entry Level book for DevSecOps
Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment involves the integration of a myriad of different products for different purposes. Until you actually get your hands on these tools you will not truly understand what differentiates each one and how the contribute to the whole CI/CD pipeline.Rafal does an excellent job in this book of demonstrating the power and principles associated using simple, easy to understand applications explaining how pipelines, containerization, server clustering and Infrastructure are revolutionizing the software development life cycle. As a professionsal DevSecOps trainer, my purpose is in using this book to create working examples for my classes.
