I had been wanting to tackle this task on two of my leather jackets, but was a little apprehensive. I read and thought and thought and read. Finally I decided anything would look better than the two jackets looked now. WoW! The results were wonderful! I used Fiebings Leather Dye on a red and a brown jacket. I then applied a conditioner and both jackets look brand new. In reality they are each probably 15 years old. Wonderful! The dye was way easier to use than I thought it would be. No streaks and the ending jacket is soft and supple. I would recommend this product and the task of putting some life into your leather jackets to anyone. Additionally, I redyed a billford, and added conditioner to that and some purses. Easy Peasy! The results are amazing!

Ich wollte Kunstlederstiefel für mein Kostüm färben und hatte bei Sprays die Sorge, das der Lack später abblättert. Bei dem Dye passiert das nicht, jedoch bekommt man keinen deckenden Auftrag hin. Zuvor hatte ich die Schuhe mit Isopropanol gereinigt. Nach 4 Schichten habe ich dann aufgehört. Die Schuhe sehen aus der Entfernung edler aus, jedoch vom Nahen schon fleckig und der Gold-Schimmer ist unpassend, daher muss ich nochmal mit Schuhcreme o.Ä. drüber. Die gewünschte Farbe, entsprechend einem dunklen rot, habe ich leider nicht erhalten. Kann ich daher nicht empfehlen, außer man sucht nach einem derartigen Effekt.

Works really well dries quicky

Used while refinishing an old leather armchair. I'd never done this before, so was worried that the first coat dried very pink. I persevered and had to do 3 subsequent coats (had to purchase more) to get the colour saturation I wanted. The end result, after topcoat, exceeded my expectation.
