Small, compact, powerful enough, and can be hung.
The media could not be loaded. Small, compact, powerful enough, and can be hung. RYOBI BATTERY NOT INCLUDED. Charges your devices. Provides light conveniently. Simple and worth the cost. I look forward using this camping and having it readily accessible in case of an emergency or the power goes out.

Only off brand Ryobi i could find. Worth it so far.
I purchased this lantern+USB charger intrigued that it had no reviews and as well as it is the only knock off Ryobi "Tool" i can find. The light is small but the 3 LED's are very bright and can easily illuminate a campsite. The folding hook is sturdy and nicer than expected. The adjustable wheel makes a fantastic light dispersion. USB ports work well with a small USB fan. Definitely worth it for the price if you have these batteries laying around. The only complaint i would have is a small gap between the lantern and the battery making a jiggle between tool and battery which can make it feel cheap, But overall worth it considering price to other Ryobi tools

Great Light W/USB ports.
This little guy runs off my ryobi 18V battery and is small but does the job for camping. The USB ports are great for charging things or to use with a small LED light.

Serves a practical need
I have holiday lights that are USB powered but the location I had them in the house did not have an outlet. I have loads of Ryobi batteries that are always charged so I use this to power those lights. Nice, affordable, elegant solution!

Very useful tool for camping
Why didn’t Ryobi produce something this simple and economical. We love this little phone charger and flashlight combo for camping. Another reviewer mentioned that the usb charger will drain the battery because it draws power even when not charging. I didn’t see that happening overnight but I just pop the battery out when not using it for charging. We use better lanterns for camping but the charger is a big deal to our group and this one is perfect for us.

Short circuit drains battery
This seems to work well, but there's a major problem. If you leave the battery attached, it slowly drains to zero. So you must store it without the battery inserted, which is very annoying, and limits it's value as an emergency light. This is a copy of an original Ryobi charger, which does not include a light. So each has a drawback, but overall I think that the original Ryobi product is a better choice.
