Fit perfectly and batteries last longer if you turn off the radio function if not needed.

Works great, but consumes alkaline AA batteries.
As title states, it’s exactly as described. Utilizes 4 AA batteries. I’ve been using Amazon generic batteries and I’m lucky to get two days of battery life while hunting while utilizing power saving options. The recharge Garmin battery packs are by far superior in weight and lifespan but I was unable find them for this model anymore.

Poor fit to gps ( tight) seem to use more power than rechargeable otherwise good back up
