I was afraid after reading the reviews that my jerky would come moldy, but it didn't thankfully. Is a small bag for the price, so it's definitely a treat (the only reason I knocked a star off). Texture is soft, flavor is good. I've been vegetarian for almost five and a half years and this satisfies the jerky craving. Keep in mind too that is this is made from textured soy protein, so eat sparingly if you're limiting soy intake.

Excellent product! This is my favorite of all the flavors they offer as the spicy cayenne flavor stands out more than the heat and pairs well the slightly sweet notes of the maple syrup and cane sugar. The texture of the jerky strips are soft and just slightly moist. Has more of a melt in your mouth or add it to a meal type of vibe rather than a tough and chewy jaw workout. All that and the peace of mind that no animal had to suffer to make my tasty snack, is well worth the seemingly high price tag. I would never hurt a caring and sentient being, so naturally I will not pay someone to hurt these animals for me. Thanks, Louisville!

Price is awful for a little bag, but the product itself is super good. I haven't had vegan jerky before but this was great, only thing is I wish it was spicier!

I bought this off of the reviews. I liked is a lot. The texture is pretty good. Like others mentioned, it's rather salty and there is a lot of the liquid smoke flavor. I think it's supposed to be a snack and should be eaten in moderation. As far as price to size... I think it's fair. I usually buy Go slim with slim steak which online is very expensive but a lot bigger. I'd say they are both equal price point wise. I think I still prefer Go slim as it's not quite as salty and has an even more authentic texture. But I'll definitely buy this and would like to try other flavors again.

This isn't nasty but it definitely isn't worth buying again in my opinion. When I opened the bag, the smell reminded me of dog treats or dog food, but I was determined to at least try a piece. The texture is...odd. It's airy and sponge-like almost yet it's chewy. The flavor itself though is really good and is probably the only highlight. I'm going to finish this bag off, just so I get my money's worth ( this is pretty expensive for the amount you get) but I doubt i'd buy this again.

I've tried a couple different vegan jerky brands before and they were both absolutely terrible, so I was skeptical about ever finding one I liked. I took a chance on this and I'm so glad I did! I used to love jerky when I ate meat and I think this stuff actually tastes really similar to the real thing. It does look pretty weird but that's easy to get over since it tastes so good. Their website has a subscription box that I'm now debating on signing up for, too.

I have been a vegetarian for about 20 years, not because I don't like meat, but when I was 11 they showed a video in school in the brutal way they kill these innocent creatures so that we can eat them. So I decided I would be one less they needed to worry about lol. That being said I had always loved beef jerky, and for years I had tried so many different alternatives, I can honestly say this is the absolute best! I only wish they sold bigger bags! Thank u so much for a delicious product, will definitely be purchasing again!

I don't often write reviews, but I love this stuff so much I just had to say something. I've tried many other varieties of vegan jerky, and although they were okay at best it just wasn't the jerky I was looking for. I found this stuff and decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did. The taste and texture reminds me of the jerky I used to enjoy, and after giving some to my boyfriend (who is a meat eater) he could hardly tell the difference and tried to eat it all!! You will love this jerky!
