A bit thinner than expected
The size was perfect but I genuinely thought it would be thicker than a sheet of cardboard.

Perfect for a Small Pool
Using it with Intex Outdoor Pool. It is quite thin rubber mat as others have noted too, but then making it thicker would increase its price. It is supposed to protect the pool surface from ladder legs, and make ladder less slippery. Rubber quality is good and protection seems quite adequate to me.You need to roll a few times in other direction to straighten it before putting in pull. No idea why people are complaining about not staying it in water etc. No issues there - it stays put perfectly. Given its very reasonable price, I would definitely recommend it.

Its a good idea, but it curls up under the ladder or just slides around the bottom of the pool.

Still in place
Did the job of keeping our ladder and stairs from rubbing against our pool liner. Kept in place with zip ties, by drilling holes in the ladder/stairs and the mat. So it takes time to do it right. Still in place!

It's not what one would expect
This seems like it might be a fairly decent extra-layer between your pool ladder and your liner.The issues is that it will not stay put.If you glued it down or even taped it down when the pool is empty, it would probably work fine.It is not very thick but it would keep the ladder from scraping against the liner when people are climbing on it.But as it is, it floats.I put it on the bottom of the pool and tried to center the ladder over it, it kept moving.Once I got it in place, the ends kept flapping around.When people climb down the ladder it moves slightly and the mat moves as well and doesn't always return to its original location.Eventually it wiggled it's way free and floated around the pool like it was on holiday.All it was missing was one of those fruity drinks!After the 3rd time it 'escaped' I took it out.I'll wait until the next time I have to drain the pool or I'll find some underwater tape and try to reinstall.If you have a better way to adhere it I'd love to know about it.Can't say it's a bad product, it's just not as easy as advertised for me.

Excellent for my above ground pool. Saves the liner from wear and tear. Cant beat the price.
