Commands & Colors: Napoleonics Expansion 6: Epic Napoleonics (2nd Printing)

The media could not be loaded.  I have been playing Commands and Colors: Napoleonics for some time, and this expansion truly delivers.With the addition of the Epics board and a blend of classic and Epics maps, the game's scale expands. It is more critical in Epics to decide where and when to use your Command and Tactician cards, as a larger board with more units opens players up to more critical decision-making and exploitation. With the Epics maps, you will see an increase in play time from 1-2 hours to 3-4 hours because of its scale and extended victory requirements. Even if play time deters your from playing the Epics scenarios, there are a handful of classic engagements to add to the 100+ scenario list (assuming you have the other expansions) to keep you entertained.Lastly, the game introduces La Grande Battles scenarios, expanding the scope and the board even more, and pushing the game to new heights with up-to-8-player gameplay and additional rules to use. However, there are only 2 of these scenarios, which serves as a test bed for the upcoming La Grande Battles expansion (available for pre-order on GMT's site).If you are a die-hard fan of the Commands and Colors system and are looking for a more epic (pun intended) addition to the Napoleonics series of games, this expansion is a must-have for your gaming experience.

If you like playing Commands & Colors Napoleonics, then you need to get this expansion. After playing on the bigger board with larger armies and the Epic rules you will no longer be interested in just playing the base game.
