I purchased her book to accompany it, although the deck does come with a pocket-sized book to review some of the meanings of each card. The case is lovely, the quality of the cards is supurb and I love the Lebanese-style artwork and gold details, while still staying very true to the typical images/meanings of each card. Not too busy and not too simple. Truly magical! The deck comes with a few special cards that are not in traditional Lenormand but using them is obviously optional. Sometimes I use them and sometimes I don't. It depends on the query. I'm very happy with my purchase and this is the deck that I grab for 9 times out of 10. Review: Finally fully satisfied with Lenormand - I'll start by commenting on some other reviews. First, this deck is meant to go along with the 2nd edition of George's Essential Lenormand, which she's updated to include the extra cards and how to use them in a 40-card Grand Tableau. If you just get the deck by itself, the included booklet is not going to get you where you need to be. Second, some comment that they like the new cards but they'd never use them in a Grand Tableau. You're missing out, and I'm not sure why you'd do that to yourself. I've always preferred Lenormand for it's practical bluntness and fortunetelling, as opposed to the psychological focus of Tarot in recent decades. I want to know why my flight is delayed, and if I'm going to make my destination, not how I'm going to feel about it. And yes, you can do practical fortunetelling with Tarot, it's just harder to find resources that teach that, and I find it more challenging. However, what I haven't appreciated about Lenormand is the lack of a dedicated work or sex card. If you decide to use the Fox or Moon card for work, then you no longer have the Fox to warn you of manipulation at work or the Moon to tell you about recognition at work. Same with using the Lily or Whip for sex. You lose those cards as descriptors of the sex. I also do ancestor and magical work that isn't well-represented in Lenormand cards. When I learned that George had updated her book to include cards to solve these issues, I was all in. The only problem was having a deck to use. I'll admit that the art of this deck is the opposite of anything I'd ever want to buy, but I bought it to get me working with the new cards while I figured out what to do. I ended up buying a deck of blank playing cards and drawing my own deck. And I'm working on taking the extra Man and Woman cards from my other favorite decks and printing versions of George's new cards to paste over them to 'fix' the decks I like. It's worth the effort, because the new cards have been a complete game changer for me. My readings have become more accurate, more satisfying, and more applicable to my life. I'm never going back to the traditional 36-cards.

A Wonderful Lenormand Deck
This is a beautiful, luxurious , Lenormand deck. I love that the back of the deck has a Hamsa with an Evil Eye. It also is helpful because the Lenormand is not supposed to be read upside down, like the Tarot. So you can see that your cards are right side up with this design. The pictures are beautiful and the card stock is wonderful. She includes and extra man and woman so you can add it to your deck if you are reading for someone in the LGBTQ community. She also has four extra cards that you can add in to your readings. Or not, if you don't want to. There is a little book that comes with the deck. It has some information. I've read some complaints that this book isn't very thorough. However Rana George has already written the absolute best book, on how to read Lenormand. It is entitled, " The Essential Lenormand" by Rana George. I honestly didn't think I liked the Lenormand deck until I got her book. Now I much prefer it to Tarot. I highly recommend the Rana George Lenormand Deck. I also recommend "The Essential Lenormand. Your Guide To Precise & Practical FORTUNETELLING" by Rana George.

Smooth & Special
Beautiful artwork and special vibration to the deck similar to Baralho Cigano or the Brazilian Gypsy deck. Card stock shuffles smooth like silk. The size is good for both 9 card & full layouts. Very happy reading with this deck!

Beautiful cards, good quality
I have only very recently learned of the Lenormand cards. After 30 years of trying to use Tarot cards now I no longer pick them up. I purchased a Blue Owl deck first and soon learned of the Rana George deck and book. The Rana George deck is the only one I use now. It is a beautiful deck, even the top of the cards is a beautiful design. The card stock is of good quality. Even the box they come in is good quality, strong, magnetic closure. Room to stack the cards in two columns. Cards are small enough to fit in my hands, unlike most tarot decks. I love the subject matter of the cards, the style, the colors, I find them to be very inviting to use and very easy to use. This may sound strange but the cards just feel good in my hands. Like Rana George, I am of Lebanese descent but I believe that even if I weren’t I would still find these cards to be beautiful and easy to use. I also purchased Rana George’s Lenormand book and as a beginner I have found it to be very helpful.

Gorgeous!
These are by far my favorite lenormand cards I have ever purchased. The imagery and symbology is beautiful. The gold foiling is beautiful. The size of the cards is perfect (the size of playing cards) and the book has excellent explanations that help me remember the card meanings better. The four extra cards, bed, spirit, market, and incense burner, are very useful and quite frankly, I think they were needed in a deck all along. Thank you, Rana George.

I was a bit worried the box might be too large since it was hard to tell from the photos, but it turned out to be the perfect size! The cards are even more stunning in person, they truly took my breath away. This is easily one of the most beautiful Lenormand decks I’ve seen, created by the amazing Rana George, whose book I’ve also enjoyed. The quality of both the cards and the artwork is exceptional. The box features a sleek magnetic closure. I also love the inclusion of two versions for the Man and Woman cards, offering diversity, plus four extra cards. A truly outstanding deck in every way!

Beautiful artwork, love the Lebanese, Arabic and Andalusian (😍!!) flare, the deck has a beautiful energy and it speaks to you. It has extra cards and I love the size, it’s small but perfect for my tiny hands, I do prefer smaller decks, I almost never use bigger ones. My favourite Lenormand by far. Love the work of Rana George! And I love the gold details, it shines a lot, more than what it shows in the pictures.
