Lightweight and nice!
We love this leash, works great for our small 10 lb terrier that likes to run off. We use it for quick pee breaks and sitting on the porch as we don't have a fenced yard. We do not leave him unattended with it, as it is so thin and light that when he gets the zoomies he can tangle himself in a way that could be dangerous. But that's with any lead. We have bought two of these because the last one broke, but it's outside 100% of the time and weather will do that to things. Definitely a quality product for the price.

Strong
Very strong, clasps are strong too. I keep it outside in rain, snow, and sun. The covering over the wire is durable, hasn’t cracked yet. My 60lb lab runs to the end of it and it shows no signs of wear.

It might be a bit heavy for smaller dogs
**Petest 25ft Tie-Out Cable for Dogs up to 250 Pounds**As a dog owner who enjoys spending time outdoors with my pet, I needed a reliable and durable tie-out cable that could keep my dog secure while allowing him the freedom to roam within a safe area. The Petest 25ft Tie-Out Cable seemed like a solid option, especially given its capacity to handle dogs up to 250 pounds.**What I Like:**- **Strong and Durable**: The cable is made from a robust steel material that feels sturdy and reliable. It’s coated with a weather-resistant vinyl, which adds an extra layer of protection against the elements. This durability is reassuring, especially since my dog is strong and likes to pull when he’s excited.- **Tangle-Free Design**: The swivel clips on both ends of the cable help to prevent tangling, which is a common issue with tie-out cables. My dog can move around freely without getting tangled up, which makes it more comfortable for him and less of a hassle for me.- **Length**: The 25-foot length is ideal for giving my dog enough space to explore while keeping him within a safe area. It’s long enough for him to enjoy a good range of movement but short enough to prevent him from wandering too far.- **Ease of Use**: The cable is easy to attach and detach from both my dog’s collar and the anchor point. The clips are large and secure, making it simple to hook him up quickly without fumbling with complicated mechanisms.**What I Don’t Like:**- **Weight**: The cable is a bit heavy, which is to be expected given its strength, but it could be cumbersome for smaller dogs or those not used to tie-outs. While it’s perfect for larger dogs, it might be overkill for smaller breeds.- **Vinyl Coating**: While the vinyl coating is great for weather resistance, it can start to wear down over time, especially if the cable is exposed to harsh conditions frequently. This hasn’t happened yet, but it’s something to keep an eye on if you leave it outdoors for extended periods.- **Price**: The Petest Tie-Out Cable is slightly more expensive than some other cables on the market, but the quality seems to justify the price. However, if you’re on a budget, there are cheaper options available, although they might not offer the same level of durability.**Bottom Line:**The Petest 25ft Tie-Out Cable is an excellent choice for dog owners who need a reliable and durable solution for securing their pets outdoors. It’s particularly well-suited for large, strong dogs, thanks to its sturdy construction and tangle-free design. While it might be a bit heavy for smaller dogs and the vinyl coating may wear over time, the overall quality and ease of use make it a worthwhile investment. If you’re looking for a tie-out cable that can withstand the strength of a large dog and provide them with plenty of freedom to move, this product is definitely worth considering.

Tough line!
I moved and needed a way to secure my dogs in a backyard without a fence. I have two small dogs and I bought two of these leashes. Usually, I expect these to go bad by the end of summer, but both leashes that I bought made it through summer without any sign of wear and tear. They even can get notted up and not crack and rust. It’s the perfect length to secure your pup.

Only lasted one winter and summer
It held strong for an entire year with my 80+100lb lab who likes to pull . But the rust built up on the clicking part which is essential and once that happened it was impossible to open it to click it to my dogs collar or harness. Also the outside red coating starting breaking and rust built up pretty quickly on the wire.Side note I did have it secured/clicked to an eye hook on my porch so It wasn’t just laying on the ground while not in use to try and prolong it’s life but that didn’t seem to make it last much longer unfortunately. But for the price a year is semi-decent life span. Perhaps in a place that isn’t winter 8 months out of the year it will last far longer and be way better. I used it with the hand screw into the ground pole and it connected perfectly.
